Always happy with this place, great service and awesome people who go above and beyond! This is an overdue review but I think the general managers name is Sam and the girl workings name was Michelle. I hope that’s correct because whoever it was that I dealt with/spoke to was amazing!
Good food at a decent price. Service sometimes not the best. If you get the salad make sure they remember the dressing. The island fire chicken is my favorite but definitely spicy.
We came home after a long trip and my husband and I decided to go grab some food which I was super excited about that they had finally opened this location and was dying to try. It had been ages since I’d last had their food so we gave it a go. Long story short I’m not one to write reviews but I was devastated when we pulled up to the drive through. The guy taking our order was extremely rude, he seemed so bothered throughout the whole interaction. I get it we all have bad days sometimes but buddy if you hate your job please find a new one where you don’t have to deal with customers. He literally didn’t say a word at the drive through just handed us our order and closed the window. Probably won’t ever come back to this location due to poor customer service literally ruined my night.
Have grabbed lunch here a couple of times before and all was well. However on 4/7/22 after eating the seafood mix plate got violently ill (I suspect with food poisoning) later that afternoon. Tried calling them to report several times, but no answer. Hope no one else got sick. Will have to take a break from eating here in the foreseeable future. Beware!
Was happy to find this new location on Ray Road had a drive thru. We ordered a family meal with Kalbi, BBQ Chicken and Chicken Katsu. Great portions and great taste. Their mac salad is always a fave. Also ordered spam musubi which is comfort food to me. It totally hit the spot when I had it for lunch the next day. Will definitely try the other musubis they offer.
This place is new here but you can ever go wrong with it. I've been to different locations and they have really good consistency. As for this location the food was great as always.
I get to the drive-thru at 9: 55pm, they close at 10. I know I'm late but any place I've worked we don't mind taking someone that late and treating them just like they're the 1st customer of the day. Anyway, I asked if the grilled chicken is an option he says "no because it takes 12 minutes to cook" kind of unprofessional or they could have at least said chicken isn't available at this time of the night not sound bothered because you don't want to cook for a paying customer... I wasn't gonna cry over some grilled chicken so I order something else the wait wasn't bad but the dude with the glasses didn't even allow me to finish my question for some sauce he just kept saying "it's in the bag it's in the bag" kind of rude and they gave me like 10 sauces CONTAINERS thems HUGE! I only really need like 2, I was going to leave them by the drive-thru window and not respond if they were to ask me what I was doing. These people have no personal skills... The Hawaiian place on baseline and mill is way better/friendlier staff. Also like everyone else on here mentioning the food definitely was sitting around for a while they could have taken that 12 minutes before it closed thing to make one more round of fresh food ?♀️
WOW. This place sucks. Spent 40 min in the drive through and it wasn’t even busy, and then this is what they served us. Go to another location this one isn’t worth it.
Excellent Hawaiian food! I highly recommend the pic two - you get to choose two meats and comes with a salad and rice! I usually have enough left over for another meal!
This location is not up to the other locations in Arizona's standards. Even their new location, that they just opened up in Gilbert functions and works way better than the Tempe location. It's sad because distance wise this is the closest one to me, but I'm so grateful that they opened up the Gilbert location because I venture to that location just because the quality of service is better and the portion sizes more what they normally provide. Also the island chicken at the Tempe location has been burnt on 2 occasions that I attempted to purchase it from them. The staff is also very Disrespectful and rather hang out and talk with each other than to provide any level of customer service is almost like taking their order or taken my order was a problem for them.
