-typical indian restaurant type setting-north indian food (share with a family type food, such as big platters of curries and naans, etc)-free paapads with chutney, which is nice-wait time isn't that bad-bar in the restaurant-service is AMAZING. Free gulab jamun for my mom's bday, they gave free (high quality) onions when requested, and agreed to make the tomato soup less spicy and even refund it if it was still spicy (although, the refund wasn't needed).-food tastes good and it will definitely fill you up. Definitely coming back to this hidden gem
The food was yummy, but the buffet didn’t have a ton of options. I really love their garlic naan. It is a bit run down, but don’t let that shy you away from this place. The buffet was about $13.50 per person. The owner is really nice and welcoming.
We were visiting from Seattle and stopped by this place for their lunch buffet on an extremely hot Wednesday. The buffet had quite good Indian food - the mutter paneer, paneer makhni and aloo gobi was quite nice. The palak paneer was not great and on the saltier side. They had only one vegetarian appetizer- vegetable pakora which was alright. The absolute highlight though was the naan served at the table - it was flaky and warm and really nice.
This was our first time here. We had the lunch buffet. Everything tasted as delicious as the aroma The garlic naan bread was the best I've ever had. There was a wide variety of savory selections and deserts. ( They had my 2 favorite deserts...the little round donuts soaked in syrup and the sweet carrots). We'll definitely be back.
Something has clearly changed here, based on the number of stars and the quantities of reviews. It is not possible that we are speaking of the same establishment.I went into this restaurant (March 2022) because my business moved to the area and I waited months to take a few colleagues here because Indian cuisine is their favorite. What a disappointment. The windows in the front of the business are full of bugs - stuck between the booths and the glass. They haven't been cleaned out in months if not years. If this is an indication of what's going on inside and in the kitchen... and the fact that every employee walks past it, several times a day..We ate because there was too many of us to try to chose an alternate, we will never go back.Sad ?
My husband was craving Indian food and we came to Nandini for dinner. We were not disappointed! We had the vegetable samosas to start, then the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chana Masala. We also had both the garlic and butter naan. I washed all of it down with a Mango Lassi!! Everything was delicious and we took home a lot of leftovers :) Reasonably priced, especially when you take into account the portion sizes. We will definitely be back!!
I enjoy Nandini but rarely go because it's out of my way. I was thinking about going yesterday, on Sunday, but according to Google it was just open from 2:30 - 5 so I didn't. I went today, only to find a sign saying it's closed on Mondays (and had normal hours on Sunday, just my luck). These "new" hours have been in effect since October and yet aren't posted anywhere on the internet. As a business, the least you can do is ensure your business hours are kept up-to-date on websites so you don't steer people wrong. There are so many sites that show hours and NONE of them correctly indicate the current open times/dates. Not Google, not Yelp, not Nandini's own website. It's especially frustrating for me as I don't have a car. I waste time, energy, and money going to places only to find they're closed. When stuff like this happens, it makes me not want to bother going back at all, especially when there are alternatives who are reliable.
Visited for dinner with a colleague on a business trip. Ordered Shahi Paneer and Baggani Bharat. I look at the restrooms to judge the quality of hygiene at a restaurant. Food was terrible and dirty bathrooms. Mentioned this to the manager whose response was that a service company cleans it. Very disappointed.
Is in great place to dine in very comfortable atmosphere food is just delicious Staff is very attentive they do a great job of attending to your needs above and beyond just some of the flavors that you get from this place are amazing using curry's corner used to be one of our go to do but this is definitely our top choice See for yourself start with a ice cold Taj Mahal Beer
My experience at Nandini was just meh! The food is not even close to what authentic indian food tastes like. And my review is not based on just one experience. I decided to give multiple tries but was left with the same dissatisfactory feeling. There are many other indian restraurants around that offer much better, when it comes to quality food with fine taste.
