Pleasantly surprised! I have to say I was a bit hesitant to try this restaurant, however, when I saw my husband go for it and order, I went for it as well. Though the restaurant was small there was enough space to eat inside. We both ordered the Wet Burrito with marinated chicken and we were each allowed to tailor our burrito fillings with different options such as a the type of bean (black, whole pinto, or refried), rice, cheese, lettuce, cabbage, corn, cilantro, onion, creama, and various salsas. The “wet” came from smothering the outside of the burrito in red or green sauce or both, then topping it with cheese and a delicious cream cheese blend. I would go again and definitely recommend you try it!!
Very good authentic Mexican food. Huge burritos and great sopes. A must!
Great inexpensive food made while you watch. Only at THIS location: you can customize the ingredients they use, so you can add cheese, leave out cilantro, or invent a shrimp fajita rice bowl salad hybrid thing with guacamole. Very casual. Loved it!
It will be bad to keep this alone to myself. I came across the best Forex, Crypto, and Binary expert ever,
Tacos were really great. Meats were delightfully sweet and crispy and adding corns on them made these tacos perfect.
Staff was unfriendly and seemed put off by us being there as first time guests. Charged $3 extra for chips when that is usually a free side at any restaurant. When we asked for a non spicy option, we were suggested an item that ended up being so incredibly spicy we could barely eat it or pick around it. I wanted to like this place so bad, but I’m not sure I’ll be back. They seemed like they didn’t want to be there at all.
Great food, friendly staff, the 5 street tacos and vegetarian tacos are amazing!!!
I am trying to write a review for Maskadores Taco Shop in Tolleson, AZ, not Tempe, but the site keeps reverting to Tempe. It is located at 9205 W. Van Buren St.., Tolleson, AZ 85353 623-440-3009. Open 9 AM - 8 PM most days. Closed Monday? or just closed for Presidents' Day? This is an excellent restaurant. Prices are very reasonable. We each had Five Street Tacos (listed on menu) al pastor. There are many toppings to choose from, also numerous salsas. The orange one is a hot fruit salsa (chamoy?) It comes with a generous serving of hominy/rice and choice of beans (we had black and refritos). Everything was cooked to our order, was fresh, absolutely delicious, and full of flavor. It was more than I could eat. We also had house margaritas, which are huge. $10.25 for the 5 tacos and $5.00 for the margarita. We also loved the decor, which was big arty blowups of lucha libre scenes. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you want authentic Mexican food in an interesting atmosphere, this is the place.
Good food! Cool luchador themed taco shop restaurant with nice decorations of luchadores and comfortable seating! You like Wet burritos? (Salsa of your choice poured on the burrito, maybe cheese sauce??) They have that too!! They have lots of different beers to choose from, Patron silver, Patron Reposado. This is a cool place to check out! They custom make your order right in front of you if you order a burrito where you can choose what you want in it. They have a variety of meats and sauces. The hot sauce I chose is so hot I think I'm on Fire! Aaayyyooooo! They have lots of sauces, I just chose the hottest one though! They have a Self-serve Salsa bar next to the soda machine where you can try different kinds of sauces.
Great margarita and street tacos are the best. Sometimes I get taco salad and they are retry good too
