This is a hidden gem in Arizona, been living in Arizona for 8 years and I’ve literally drove past this place all the time. They changed the color of the building to blue, and I finally decided to go give it a try. This place is AMAZING, if you want real authentic middle eastern food this is the place to be. GIANT portions as well.

Best lamb in town! The Masoub is really good too. The dining area has traditional floor seating too. This place is so authentic they hold an all-night buffet during Ramadan. Which means, last I checked, during Ramadan they are closed all day until the sundown fast ends.

If you are reading this because you are deciding wether to go and break your fast at the Ramadan buffets here, YES GO. Best bang for your buck as they say. Food is amazing, fresh, plentiful and so much variety that even small tastings of the whole buffet menu would literally fill you up. The place could definitely use a facelift. I don’t understand why our halal restaurants which are doing so well and serve such nice food won’t offer a more cleaner and fresher ambiance to dine in. Again, food is really nice and servings are so generous.

First time there and went to break my iftar since it's Ramadan. Many options to choose from but service was kind of slow on refilling the trays. I suggest to get there early to avoid long lines at the entrance and getting food before it's all gone. They did a great job in keeping order but the customers need to respect the lines and process.

Very rarely will I write a review after just one visit. Today I break that informal guideline. My son invited me to meet him at Mandi House, a middle eatern restaurant that he heard about in Tempe. I arrived early and found a stand alone actual old blue building which obviously had once been a home on Apache Blvd just west of McClintock. Parking is located behind the eatery, so you must take the small alley road just east of the building. The house has 3 main areas/rooms that allow inside sit-down, outside dining, and even inside private parties. The staff is polite and very quick to respond to help. While there are a lot of tables for dining in, the traffic for pickup orders is also constant.I began with ordering hummus and pita appetizer. The hummus was very flavorful and the pita fresh, warm and apparently just baked. Excellent. For a main meal, we decided to order a full platter to allow us to try the lamb, fish and chicken. This also came with two types of basmati rice, yogurt sauce and a a delicious kind of salsa. The chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender and nicely flavored. The lamb was roasted, bone-in and juicy. The fish was an entire body, with skin, tasty grilled fish. All of the food was nicely prepared and worked perfect together.Since we had a large platter meant for multiple people the price was about $50, but quite reasonable on a per person basis.I would highly recommend Mandi House to anyone seeking moddle eastern food. An excellent choice.

Best tasting kabob sandwich in Arizona! Hands down very delicious food made fresh! If I stop by in AZ again will definitely order take out and dine in here! Keep up the great work! Thank you for the amazing food!

better food than you find in saudi, get the haneeth or kabsa with lamb or beef, the meat is really tender it melts in your mouth.

Went there yesterday and it was exactly as the reviews said it would be. Lot of middle eastern people were there which is always a good sign to prove authenticity. Ordered the mandi chicken plate and portions were good. I always am a little sceptical to order lamb because of gaminess but this lamb was not gamy at all. Location is a little run down but that's ok. It helps keeps prices down and I was there for the food not for the decor.

delicious, authenticity and good price

The do not allow disabled people with service animals. They are also not very polite about it.
