By far the BEST of the BEST chaat place in the valley. I have tried a lot of India restaurants in the valley and this place makes the best chaat in town, so much like Mumbai street chaat! yum yum yum!!! ?Their “chole bhature” and “samosas” are the best. I always order a lot and more than I can eat. In my greed, I forgot to take pictures of the snack I ordered. They are under new management now and yet everything seems the same, in a nutshell fabulous for this size a grocery store, fast food restaurant. Oh yes, their team and owner are equally kind and very humble. I love this little place! Hot, sweet and little spicy! :-)
Don't let the appearance fool you, this place has tasty aunthentic Indian food! It’s a grocery store in the front, but if you walk to the back you'll find a small kitchen. I travel a lot and always try Indian cuisine while on the road. I was not diappointed! Pricees here were very reasonable. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Little India is a small grocery store and restaurant located in a strip mall in Tempe. When you walk in, it’s a grocery store with a variety of Indian foods and spices. But if you walk to the back, you’ll find some small tables and a menu on a white board. To order, you take a copy of the menu, select your options, and hand it to one of the nice chefs. No frills, but everyone who goes there is there for the food. The kitchen staff were quiet, but very friendly.
Always a reliable place to get our 'fixed of good 'ole style food that reminds of "back home." Yes, this is an Indian Restaurant where Indian people actually go to eat.
We've been going there every week for the last 8 years or so. Samosas and khasta kachori chaat are our staples from the kitchen and different types of namkeen snacks as well and chhalian. Food is almost always great from the kitchen, only a handful of times ut has been a bit stale, but in 8 years that is a testament to the quality. They have Indian as well as Pakistani items so a well rounded shop. We get chips and cookies from them as well as lentils, rice and frozen foods. The mithai leaves a lot to be desired, but hey the chaats and samosas are great. Our family enjoys eating from their and they anxiously eemind us on Thursdays to head over to get samosas and chaat!
Very inexpensive and very good. Perfect place if you are looking for a snack. The best aloo-poori I have had for just 7 bucks.
Its a grocery store with a few tables at the back which they call as their restaurant. The chole bhature were nice but the chole seemed like they were one of those ready to eat frozen packs which were heated up in a microwave. The pav bhaji also tasted the same as the chole. The grocery store has a lot of variety of indian stuff. I got the Top ramen masala flavour but when i made it at home it tasted like it was very old.
Loved the experience there. It's a mini Mart plus restaurant. Price is decent and has variety of products plus good food.
I ordered Rice Pulao, Bhatura, Matar Paneer and Samosa. I thought it was very flavorful. It is homemade.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in this area. Food has authentic taste, price is super reasonable and all the restaurant attendants are very friendly and helpful. We go there 2-3 times a week for our grocery needs and try their different food items from the menu with all the satisfaction of Indian food cravings. Wish you a great success and hope that soon you will introduce more stores in different neighborhoods of town.THANK YOU!!!
