Our server, Chase, was friendly and attentive. The brunch food was very good, my son's BLT had really good bacon. The view was peaceful ... so much better experience than the plethora of breakfast joints opening up with a 2 hour wait in a noisy atmosphere.
Beware, scan the check for post-loaded fees!! There is a 3.5% surcharge on the check if you use any credit card and gratuity is included for just a party of two!! The CC fee is complete BS. You have to pay cash to avoid the surcharge. This charge should be included in the food service like other restaurants, not as an additional fee!!! This kind of pricing is just a slimy scheme to deceptively make the already expensive food prices look cheaper. I donât usually carry around $200 to avoid such fees. So itâs essentially an unavoidable fee. It made the wonderful experience end with a bad taste.
Outdoor seating is impossible to endure, we thought there would be a mister system but luckily we ended up finding seats inside, food was not good, the beef stroganoff was very fatty and greasy, vodka pasta was very watery, blooming spritz drink was not good, service was good, food is overpriced
The restaurant was nice and intimate. I enjoyed my smoking drink and the salmon was really good. I got a great glimpse of the sunset. The hostess greeted with a smile and the waiter was friendly and fast.
Food was excellent. Service was excellent also. Only problem was the very hot outside temperature and tall windows made it very warm inside on July17.
I had a great time celebrating my birthday at Lido. Great service, felt very welcomed.
My beef stroganoff was FANTASTIC! The homemade pasta was excellent. My wifeâs filet was ordered medium, but came out very rare. (We donât send food back, so she chose to eat only the edges). But the portion she did eat was flavorful.
Food was okay and pricey. Drinks were good and the service was okay but I think thatâs because we were seated outside. Loud drunk people like to sit next to the water and ruin the atmosphere. Probably wonât go back. Youâre paying for the view.
Upon arrival we were early and the hostess was very nice and professional seated us immediately with a view of lake. Waiter was very good. We will return again for sure.
