The chicken tasted kind of funny, and the guy at the front seemed to not want us to order because we showed up at 6 and they close at 7.
My only suggestion is to include plain fried rice on the door dash menu!Other than that, the dish is great ?
Super friendly guy at the register. Try the sunomono side, a light cucumber salad in sweet rice vinegar. Refreshing and tasty.
This was my favorite teriyaki place but when I went there recently the quality of the sauce and the chicken have really gone down in quality. I won't be going back
This restaurant fills a particular niche and in my opinion is home to one of the best flavored terryaki bowls in town. They hands down have the best ginger dressing on their simple salad. I make it a point when I'm in the area to eat here and then take home a soda cup full of their ginger dressing for home, my family loves it as much as I do. The two restaurants left in the valley are showing their wear and have to compete with the more popular chains but I truly wish we had more of these great lunch spots in the Phoenix area.
I'm a huge fan of fried rice and for a quick fix, Kyoto Bowl always has me covered! Their rice is fluffy and has the perfect amount of chicken, veggies, and a light sauce that's delicious. I have ordered both in store and online for pickup and haven't been disappointed. The teriyaki chicken is also quite yummy, the sauce is rich and the chicken is tender every time. I'm also a big fan of their spring rolls, especially with that sweet and sour dipping sauce! Highly recommend! ?
Use to love this place so it gets a 2 star for nostalgia. I thought they closed down a while back but drove by and they were open. Got a spicy Teriyaki bowl and the sauce was green???? No sesame seeds and just over all super dull. Sauce and chicken were borderline cold/ room temp. Left super disappoint because it’s nothing like I remember. Stick to yoshis and avoid this place.
Not what I was expecting… I order teriyaki chicken white rice and vegetables and taste was blend… not much flavor… pretty expensive too!! Chicken was under cook and not much flavor
Teriyaki chicken was okay, pretty mediocre though. I ordered sushi to go with it and the fish was flat out frozen. Don’t know if they were trying to keep it fresh but I’ve never been served frozen sushi before.
Fast, made sure I had my complete order before leaving and the food was very good. Definitely going back
