Wife and I tried this place for the 1st time today after hearing about how good it was and we were not disappointed! Sandwiches are huge!!! They are delicious, we unwrapped our sandwiches which were loaded with meat, the meat and toppings are packed and the price is crazy good for how big and tasty the sandwiches are. The Dagwood, the Heavyweight and the Thanksgiving were all outstanding, packed full with meat and veggies, and the taste was fantastic! We will definitely be back as we both love a good sandwich and these were great!!!! Service was good and the place looked like a it would be a good place to sit and eat as well. We'll definitely be back!
Delicious sandwiches and the portions are more than enough. Also, tried the fries and bread pudding… Amazing! Staff was very courteous and quick. I will def be going back to try the rest of the menu.
I ordered the corned beef sandwich and a saucer sized chocolate chip cookie to go for lunch. The sandwich looked awesome. As I pulled it out of the bag, I suddenly had a flashback from the last time I was in New York and got a sandwich from a small deli. While the bread was perfect, the corned beef had seen better days. Sadly, it was dry and chewy. The flavor was good, though a bit too salty, but the dryness of the meat killed my NY deli fantasy all too quickly.The cookie, though generous in size for the price, was not good at all. I like chewy cookies but this one seemed underdone and tasted of raw flour. I didn't taste butter or quality chocolate... just flour and overwhelming sweetness.Service was super quick and friendly! No complaints there!I'll likely give this shop another try in the future to see if things are better. Definitely has potential to be great.
We opted to try a new place last night for dinner. Loved that this is a local sandwich shop & not a large chain. Hubby drove in, ordered & brought home. I tried the Hot Stuff Chicken sandwich & we each got one of the banana cream tarts. The sandwich was so tasty & exactly what I had hoped it would be & the dessert was fantastic. Going to have to add this place into rotation.
The employee at the cash register was seemly very bored with the job. Maybe this person woke up on the wrong side of the bed and I caught them at a bad time. I had been here before and remembered it being really good, but this time it was not. The Turkey Cranberry tasted like a sandwich I might throw together at home using 3 day old left overs. It was also really messy. I need a fork to eat the second half of it. I am disappointed. I chose to go here instead of Jimmy Johns and now I regret it.
First time ordered. Philly cheesesteaks sandwich with jalapeño chips. Not bad at all. Gooy cheese and soft bread with fresh sandwich. Why I did not give 5 stars as it was not anything special; however good food. Will order and try others from menu and will provide more updates.
I ordered the turkey sandwich. It should be called the day after Thanksgiving sandwich or my favorite sandwich. First bite, amazing! Is a really good sandwich. I can't wait to go back tomorrow and try the soup.
I've seen this place driving around for a while but always forget to check it out. Finally made it in the other day and it was awesome! Friendly staff, restaurant was clean, and most importantly the sandwiches were great! Many different types of bread to choose from, and the turkey was not sliced deli meat-it was real chunks of turkey! The french dip was also delicious! I'll definitely be going back for another Knuckle Sandwich!
Tasty food. Hot or cold sandwiches. Seasoned meats. Great bread, rolls, buns. Offers much more than that, but that's what I'm coming back for.That and and the friendly, clean, spacious dining. EVERYONE welcomed here!Comfortable, large booth or table seating, takeout or delivery.We enjoyed the marquee named Knuckle Sandwich, and the Hot Stuffed Chicken Sandwich on this occasion.Looking forward to our next visit to also try their Meatball Sub and the Manager's Special, and their Pastrami Sandwich.Highly recommend.
