The subs are pretty good! It was a little crowded because it shares the building with the convenience store but I'd go again
Their names of the hoagies are weird but cool! Super creative. They have plenty of alcohol. Between shots, full bottles of wine, half kegs, etc. cool place to see!
Beyond delicious submarine sandwiches at this wonderful establishment. It’s the closest thing to an NYC bodega Tempe has to offer. Friendly folks greet you at the door & the pesto chicken bomb is to die for [I get mine with banana peppers + marinara sauce]
This place is straight ???Wonderful bread, ingredients, and customer service! If you in the area definitely check it out and they are even open late!!
Ordered a sub through Grubhub for a company lunch and was pleasantly surprised with one of the best subs. All ingredients were fresh including the wheat bread. If I have to make a recommendation, please include sourdough bread as an option. Tasty Vegetarian!
I am huge sandwich lover.... Its kinda my go to for a meal when I don't know what else I want... Hangover Hoagies we tried about 4 months ago at work nd my entire team asked, " Where the hell did you get those sandwiches?!?", I asked why ... They all said the same thing , those were AMAZING!! I cant agree more... We have them a couple times a month and now when I am Tempe on the weekends... We stop there for a sandwich ... Super job guys !! AND THEY ARE A LOCAL BUSINESS!!! Show them the love!!
Excellent sandwich, quick and friendly service. Kinda funny location but happy I chose to grab a bite here
One of the best kept secrets among sandwich shops in the valley… This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, and is simply a counter serve inside of a liquor store, but WOW are the subs fresh and tasty. Each one is made with a lot of love and care…The Third DUI and Drunken Philly are personal favorites of mine (ASU Students are rather fond of drinking in case you hadn’t heard ?)The macaroni salad hits different too
Well had to leave a negative review after getting the subs we got.I don't know if this is a fusion type place, but the subs we ordered did not match up to our expectations of what goes in one.For one, I ordered the Effing Ruben. Normally it's pastrami with swiss, horseradish, and 1000 Island which as a sub would be excellent. Instead I got the Effing Pastrami BLT. The toppings were that of a BLT sub. It just didn't seem right. It tasted fine, but it wasn't a Ruben. Now while that would have been acceptable to leave a three star review, the reason why I dropped the star rating was due to my girlfriend's choice. She ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. For some reason it had mayo. Now, for anyone asking, you never put mayo on a Philly Cheesesteak. It's straight up blasphemy. My girlfriend didn't request for it and we didn't notice it until we got home. That and the meat tasted undercooked and the peppers tasted like mush. She could not finish the sandwhich and we had to throw it away. It really did ruin her experience and we had to go to a different shop to get her a decent hoagie.I can say after this experience, I will not be returning here for any future subs.
This is by far one of the best Italian cheese steaks I’ve ever had in my life I added bacon and hot peppers. WOW ? JUST AMAZING. The sandwiches and great customer service always brings me back ! Thank you Jeff & friends!
