Last two times I ordered take-out the dough inside of the pizza rolls was raw. First time I simply re-cooked them in my oven. Second time I called to inform them and was given a credit however when trying to redeem that credit, I was told they don't know what I'm talking about and that a manager would call me. I never received a call back. When trying to order again (a very large order) I attempted to redeem the "credit" for the pizza rolls. They said they couldn't and that a manager would call me back (again) as the manager was not in. Still never contacted.
I just got a delivery from gus's pizza, and it was hot and fresh right down to the way I custom ordered my sub! The driver Jorey was very nice and personable. She even gave me a courtesy call cause it was late at night. Good spot!
I always try to stop by and eat here whenever given the opportunity. There's something about their food that just tastes good, authentic, yet unique. Even their pastas and sandwiches are good. Only negative is the food doesn't come out at the same time - at large varying rates, like it could be 15 minutes apart or longer. And often times you can see your food is in that white container just sitting at the window waiting to be noticed and delivered to your table - this is the case both when they're busy and when they're not. Still, hasn't stopped me and my buds from coming back time and time again.
Claim the frshest of ingredients, but didn’t taste it. The cuts in the veggies were too small or they were over cooked/roasted to contribute much to your bites of pizza. But the slices were stable, no droop, so it had a good crunchy bite to it. The price was good, and to serve me at 2 in the morning, no complaints. You’re getting exactly what it seems you will get for a 24 hour pizzeria.
Always a good choice. Pizza is always on point. Staff is usually friendly and amazing, last counter guy was kind of a butt but whatever not gonna let that ruin the amazing pizza! Great pizza just like NY!
I just went in and ordered a Burger with fries and Greek fries to go and while I love their food, I was really disappointed with the customer service. I waited what seemed like an excessive amount of time for what I ordered. In the end I was mistaken for a door dash driver or something of the other and kind of yelled and they smacked my car as I was driving away at by an employee to do my job better and read my order off my phone better, all because the cashier didn't ring up a water bottle correctly, and they thought I was a delivery driver. Like one if I was a delivery driver the way I was treated was disrespectful.
Gus's was going to get a 5 star rating from me ! But then I was on my third slice and bit right into a hair then u know what happens next.!!!! I paid 33.02 plus a cash tip.!!!!
Pretty cool spot, especially after a night of drinking and needing something to soak up the alcohol ?
I've ordered from this establishment MANY times & I've NEVER had an issue until recently. Over the past 6 months I've noticed the excellent customer service decreasing drastically BUT I'm a firm believer in 2nd chances. The FINAL & LAST Straw was when I placed an order & when I received my order it was COLD. I called & spoke with a Manager who was VERY Unprofessional, not once did he apologize or take responsibility for the mishap. I called the next day and spoke w/the Owner who was very rude, unprofessional & offered NO Solutions!!!! I say all THIS to say, I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere & I wouldn't recommend to ANYONE!!!!!!!!!
