What's not to love? Huge portions, staff is cool, food is delicious.The place always has a good vibe when you go in. Everyone seems happy to be there.Also... I never do veggies and go full carnivore... Most places will just give you a skimpy sandwich when you do that but these guys fill the gap and make sure you won't be hungry afterwards.I always recommend them to friends and family.
I am not a fan of steak cheese sandwiches but my husband is so I agreed to visit Forefathers. I was pleasantly surprised, a very clean, streamlined place. Very simple menu, good value for your money food. We had the classic sandwich with steak, onions, peppers, onions and jalapeños. The bread has a perfect consistency so the sandwich holds its shape until you finish it. French sweet potato fries were yummy! It took 5 mins to have our food done so it was really fresh. The guys at the counter/kitchen are really nice too. Great place overall, give it a try!
Not only is this place delicious (I'm partial to the low carb bowls) but honestly the staff is just so pleasant! My coworker typically stops in for my office but today I picked up for the first time and had a great experience. Very quick. Clean seating area. And super nice people. ?
First time here from out of town. My sister has celiacs so to find a place that she can eat. They were able to accommodate her. The service and food were excellent. Food came out fast. Definitely coming back when we visit family.
Definitely worth trying out. They have their sandwich down! They make it too your specs an will suggest if you had never visited such as I. Food an service was perfect. My only drawback was the price point, it is higher than other places an could be more competitive. I get your paying for their unique delicious sandwich but it prices some people out. With that being said check em out if you got 12 too 20 bucks an are hungry!
If you're looking for a cheese steak sandwich, this is the place. This little restaurant is great. The menu is very small; cheese steak/chicken sandwich, fries or sweet potato fries, and chicken tenders. Prices weren't bad, I'd come back.
The food here is ALWAYS good and consistent. It’s a little pricey but I think you get your money’s worth with quality, amount of food and taste. Employees are super friendly and quick. Fries are so good- hot and crispy, and the cheesesteak comes out super hot and on a delicious soft bread. I highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed. Also you can help yourself to fry sauce and a few other toppings, which is convenient. 10/10.
We moved back to the Midwest 10 years ago now and Forefathers is one of the things about AZ we miss the most. It was on our list of best places to eat. There is a definitely a reason why they are always busy!

Yes, hands down the best hot sub in the Chandler area. Place has a good feeling, and the workers are focused and happy. The rest room trash needs to be dumped, but that's about it. Clean & delicious.
