I so wanted to love it....but it was really so not great. Granted, I went to high school in Texas, which has arguably the best bbq. But I'm so disappointed. Ugh.
It was the worst visit ever at the Tempe location yesterday evening. Upon entry, we were not greeted or acknowledged. The two young guys (food prep guy and guy at the register) behind the counter had no customer service skills. They didn't communicate with us. They were rude and completely ignored us. When our pickup time was up, they informed us that they had messed up our order and had to remake our sandwiches. We waited fifteen minutes more for our food to finally be ready after already waiting so long. The fries were soggy and greasy. The food was cold. The restaurant was dirty. The floors weren't mopped and tables hadn't been picked up. With the service I experienced, I never want to go there again. Employees like those two young guys shouldn't be allowed to work with customers.
This Dickeys has it going on they have such great BBQ it’s really solid the flavor, texture is awesome I’ll be back!
I come here very often for the past five years. The food is very good and staff is super friendly. Since January 2022 I’ve notice higher prices but more importantly a scaling back of portions by about 1/3. Not too happy about that. I wonder if all Dickies are doing that. Even with being short staffed and busy, the two guys working had good attitudes and had my order right. The restaurant itself feels a little dingy but the food was great
Amazing service and close to campus! The food has been great every time we went and very short wait times!
Food was pretty good, service was ok, the cleanliness of the place was GROSS! The floor in the dining area was slippery with grease, and looked like it hadn’t seen cleaning with anything other than a greasy mop in days. And to top it off, while we were eating a small roach crawled up on the table.
I didn't get what I was supposed to get. What was I supposed to get was large thing of bar be cue bake bean 2 racks of ribs in other words 24 slice ribs not I had to go in to get my rack of rib the next day since they would be closing at 9:00 I received meal at 8:30 the bean ill make my own Won't be ordering nothing else from here. The guy didn't even have a hair net on or on beard. The bead where not what they were supposed to be.

Ate at the Scottsdale restaurant years before & this wasn’t as good as I remember it. The sign on the door says they got an A+ from the health dept. but the equipment looks old and it needs a really good cleaning. Mac n cheese was cold, chicken was good & tender but dry, my Caesar salad came in a cup & there was fluid at the bottom. My toast was burnt on one side….. just not worth the $30 I paid
