Perfect Detroit style coneys and the added bonus of Detroit brand foods like Faygo pop, Better Made chips and my favorite thing : Sander's bumpy cake. Friendly staff, pretty clean for a college strip bar/restaurant and excellent place to run into fellow Detroiters.
Fantastic atmosphere, food was top-notch. Ended up here for Mothers Day brunch, 100% recommend the breakfast burrito - MASSIVE. Sweet potato tots and double burger were also great. Extra kudos for the music being played, spot on ??
I tried the Coney dog and then read that the burgers are some of the best in the USA. I had to go back and try the burger.
How much hair goes on a Detriot Coney dog? So gross. Will never go back. Do NOT recommend. ??
Chili burger was very good and a great price. Ada was extremely helpful and made our time so much better!
Customer Service was excellent me and wifey got the Sun Devil Burger it was delicious with the crispy fries bomb we added them to the meal due to having them separate from burger.. we were well taken care of for our first experience here.. we'd recommend your in the area take a seat and enjoy the bar, TV's and music playing.. The service is great and the employees are extremely helpful and attentive. The hamburgers and the Coney Dogs (hotdogs) are very good
We hit up the Detroit Coney Grill for lunch during the Tempe Art Festival. We sat at the bar to grab a beer and some sliders. The Husband the Mac Style Sliders and I went with the Classic Cheeseburger Sliders along with a pretzel bites. The sliders were bigger than we had thought they would be, so 3 was 1 too many. The Pretzel bites were okay, a little oily and some were over cooked, but still edible. Service was a little slow, but there was only 1 bartender for a lot of people. So it was understandable. There are things on the menu that sound interesting and next time we are in the area we would consider going back.
Fellow Michiganders will love this place. They have all the coney favorites plus Sander's bumpy cakes & super man ice cream.
I stood at the desk 4min at least nobody said anything just looked at me , not a wait a minute, hey we will be there in a second nothing !!! I’ll spend my money else where
