It’s my bday today and I ordered a cake from them a few days ago for pickup at 3pm today, I got a voicemail at 2:51 when we were almost at the store and wasted a ton of $ in gas that they had a “freezer malfunction” and my cake was not ready. I don’t believe this because then they said I could have a pre made cake and not my custom one which doesn’t make sense and that maybe mine would be ready in a couple of hours, after my party. Even if this was true, they could have contacted me way earlier to let me know so I didn’t waste my time getting there, no comp either to make it right. Honestly don’t believe this and really bad experience on my BIRTHDAY. Go get your cake somewhere you can trust it will be done in time. Will never order from them again!!!

I feel like if this store invested the money in quality team leadership then the catastrophe of the Saturday rush that happened tonight I think would be far better dealt with than a bunch of teenagers running around with 40 people in a tiny room staring at them to hurry up there was no order it was chaos I'm glad that I was only getting a already pre-packed frozen container of ice cream which by the way is extremely delicious and very happy with that I highly recommend that you get yourselves some quality employees team leaders or managers or assistant manager and pay them well and make sure that your effort and knowledge of the business to run into high-capacity without degrading the customers experience is essential over having many low-payed minions

The server was very friendly and efficient. The ice cream was delicious as always.

I ordered through the website who contracts DoorDash for delivery. I never received my delivery after it being pushed out 40 min. I tried calling for 30 min to try to get a refund. It was 9:40pm and the store hours say you are open until 10pm. I called around 5 or 6 times and it rang and rang and eventually hung up on me each time. I called one last time at 9:55 and it did not even ring anymore and gave me a busy signal as if they unplugged the phone. I do not appreciate this at all and as a former Lead at a Cold Stone I can’t believe this behavior is allowed. I will never return to this cold stone.

The employee that’s working today around 5pm was extremely rude. I called because my ice cream melted completely before I even got home and I live down the street so I called to see if I could get another one. It’s clear they aren’t keep the ice cream at the correct temperature for it to melt that fast and it’s not even hot outside. I called to see if I could come back and get another one. And the employee literally said “I don’t know what you want me to do about that” and “no one has been in the store for 25 minutes” after I had said multiple times that I was just there. So I said I’ll speak to your manager then since you want to be rude and he said “my manager is going to tell you the same thing” I said I don’t care give me the number anyway. So I will be calling so I can let them know about the experience. They need to learn customer service because you don’t say to a paying customer that “I don’t know what you want me to do about that”

Wow--somehow, I'd not been in quite a while. Only problem is that I love sweet cream with brownie and chopped almond mix-ins so much that I never try anything else!

I don’t know why I keep going back expecting the result to be different. Cold Stone Creamery you need to do some serious employee training at the Tempe Marketplace location. I hate leaving one star reviews, but c’mon, it’s impossible sometimes to get the attention of employees to place an order. The last time I was there an employee’s lunch sat on the counter. Ewwww. How hard can this be? The product is super yummy…if you can get it. Training time!

Long line which is to be expected, but great service, great pace of getting customers taken care of, and great process of getting them in and out.
