I have eaten here for years and aside from the old "Sing Hi", that used to be in downtown Phoenix near Central & Jackson, this was the best and fastest Chinese restaurant in the area and possibly all of the Phoenix metro area. Unfortunately the visit I had today was well under par. Counter service was great as always but the food that used to take 5 to 10 minutes, max, to make took at least 20 today and the pork fried rice lacked flavor. Left a bit disappointed since it is about 30 minutes out of our way now that we live in north/central Phoenix. I have faith that corrections will be made and my next visit will be just like the good ol' days. ?? ?? ??
I've visited Chopstick Express twice in the last month, and both times were delicious! I ordered 3 dishes (hunan beef, beef with broccoli, chicken with vegetables) and some crab puffs. Each dish was delicious and fresh with large servings. The staff is very kind as well. I'm definitely going back and have found my regular spot for Chinese food!
The few times we dined in, the experience was not as pleasant as one would expect. You feel like your rushed out the door and the person taking the orders is very short with you and seems to get frustrated easy. Asking for forks or chopsticks always seems to be an inconvenience to the staff.The food is enjoyed tenfold when you get it delivered (if you want to wait the 60-120 minutes it takes to get it)
This place is truly amazing. Great service and food!! Also always helpful and caring. If your hungry this place is a great start.
I moved here from the east coast 9 years ago and had since given up on finding any good Chinese food in the valley. I gave Chopstick Express a shot this week and placed an order. It was DELICIOUS!!!! My wife is a vegetarian and picky about her tofu and she agreed it was the best Chinese food she's ever had! We will be repeat customers from now on! Excellent!
It’s my Go To Chinese food for takeout. Order ahead, get in, get out. The food is good and it’s easy to access.
I've been eating at this place since 2012 when I moved into Tempe, AZ. I always been a fan of their orange chicken and the shrimp fried rice. They're pretty quick on delivery, and on time with the carry out . Great customer service.

I heard a lot of bad reviews on this restaurant. The reviews are mostly from years ago. I’m not sure what happened back then, but Today was my first time trying this place and I absolutely loved the food. I ordered the orange chicken combo, teriyaki combo and the shrimp with broccoli and mushrooms combo. I tried all combo's and I will definitely be going back…. Those that had a bad experience years ago should definitely revisit and give it another try…. Definitely worth it! Great customer service and nice atmosphere in general! Thanks Chopstick Express. I was pleased when I ordered a large vegetables fried rice at this establishment its was hot fresh and tasty real rice not that orange kinda old tasting rice some places use and vegetables also fresh with just some eggs as meat protein it was delicious I just wished it was a bit more affordable
