The worst lemon pepper wings I’ve ever tasted (the little lemon pepper taste that I was able to get) I spent over 40$ to take 2 bites.
I ordered lunch for my team at work and everyone loved it! Everything was fresh and still hot, I loved the shrimp and lemon pepper wings … I will have to try the catfish and some dessert next. Thanks for the great experience.
If I could give this place zero stars (or a negative one star) I would. When my wife and I walked in today, the cashier was very cold and aloof, as if he didn't want to be bothered by customers. Then when we went to pay, he saud they only take cash, but since we were a new customer, we could use our credit card this once. Ok explain this; If they don't take credit cards, then how was the cash register even capable of taking ours "this once"?! Also, why does their register have the apple pay and google pay signs on them, if they are cash only? The next time I am in that area, I think I will try the pizza place next door.
Baby let me tell you… this place is a MUST !! It’s absolutely amazing with its taste, I’ve officially became addicted to their fried shrimp!!! It’s definitely worth any penny spent, & the prices aren’t bad at all!
I absolutely love this chicken it reminds me of home!! Even the restaurant itself reminds me of home with all the street signs they have posted as well inside. Never had an issue with my food at all!! Alwaysmade to order and its fresh!! The guys who cook this chicken definitely know what they are doing

This place goes STOOPID!! Everyone that’s hating is probably complaining because they think “cash only “ is a bad idea. The food is consistently good. The fries are crispy too. I love the food. More importantly the employees are chill. I appreciate small black businesses like this.

Before today we really loved the food and service at this place. Called our order in and was told that it would be ready in 20 minutes. We showed up 40 minutes later and was told that it would be another 10 minutes so we gave them another 15 minutes. I returned to their counter just to be told that it will still be another 2 minutes or so. All this after watching others walk in ,order their food and leave with their orders while I was still waiting . The guy working the counter was new to me but I noticed his attitude was really different and I herd him arguing and cussing with someone in the back. If we ever go back to this location we will just turn around and leave if this person is at their counter . If I try calling our orders in and I hear that don’t gave a Dam voice we will not waste our time with this place just go somewhere else.
This is the 2nd time I've ordered thru door dash and service was great. Both times Chicago chicken shack has gotten my order wrong AGAIN!! When I call to tell them of their error, HE rudely hung up!! That's NOT good customer service and I'll be contacting the manager!! It's overpriced to order thru door dash but I'm sick and don't want to come to your establishment!!
