Surprisingly this place was really good. The oysters Rockefeller are super awesome! And so was their spinach avocado salad with 5 large shrimps! We were able to sit outside on the patio it was just lovely. Our waiter Derek, was fabulous and very attentive Even though they were super busy! Will definitely be coming back. It was my birthday too and I Was treated with fried ice cream boy was it good!
Hands down, favorite patio dining in the Valley. Servers are always responsive even when it's super busy. Just don't be in a hurry. Sit back and relax and sip your beer while you take in the beautiful scenery. Enjoy the wait for the best oysters Rockefeller in the southwest. But I'm trying to figure out what happened to the brass plaque on Bob's stool at the bar.
Good local joint to kick back, light a smoke and order some food and booze.Had the oysters, dozen of fried and raw, each time I was eating sand. It’s a little bummer, as they taste great but that sand just killed it for me.Fries are tasty, and the fish & chips is also crispy, juicy and delicate. Ambience and service has been fantastic! To those who order the oyster shooter, you are brave and have my respect!I’ll keep coming back
ASU staple. Great patio and food. Been years since visited and just like going back in time. If I’m area it’s worth just stopping by for a beer. The food is always good and the beers are cold.
Their patio is my favorite part about this establishment! Great vibes, good music, good service. I got the clam chowder, hummus app, and a dozen oysters on the half shell. Clam chowder was top tier, came with tons of crackers too. The hummus is quite good. Oysters were tasty, great presentation, a couple of them had some shell fragments in them but other than that quite good!
Great patio. Loved the oysters. My daughter had the chicken tenders and frys. It was a large portion. My boyfriend had the reuben and it had a healthy portion of meet. Definately will go there again.
Food was delish, nice size portions and great atmosphere. Our party was sitting outside and were enjoying ourselves; however, just as we were done eating, someone started smoking a cigarette. That was a big turnoff, especially if we had still been eating.
Atmosphere makes this place but food makes it sensational... much more then just oysters. Clean and friendly staff coupled with the locals. Of the beaten path a true treasure
Just a block or so from ASU's campus. Quaint garden, tree shaded courtyard reminiscent of New Orleans. Have not been inside. Very limited menu. Oysters and fried fish, bar food apps.. Relaxed, enjoyable, great place to grab a beer on a friday afternoon.
This iconic bar just off University by Mill Avenue on Ash is a great place to get seafood and have a cocktail or a beer. I don't drink but the food is to die for and everyone there is always partying, socializing and having a great time. It's a perfect place to meet up before wandering around downtown Tempe or go to try to hook up if bar dating is what you're into. They are also family friendly so feel free to bring the whole tribe for a meal.
