Great happy hour spot and a great friendly vibe. Couches, tables or just general seating mixed to suit different groups and types. Our group watched the Sun's and we were well taken care of. Drinks refreshed promptly and food came out hot. I'll bring friends here again.

If you are in the area and looking to have a pleasant dinning experience, you have come to the right spot. We were greeted by Shay (so hope I spelt her name right), she made us felt welcome and was very accommodating. Food was lovely and Rachel was also attentive to our needs and requests. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Parking is shared, since there are plenty of other venues in the area, so plan in advance. X1.Hope you enjoy as we did.

The worst place we have even dined at. We came here for Easter and regretted it. Our waitress greeted us 25 minutes after we sat down. My kids waited for chicken tenders for about an hour. My husband was done with his entree by the time the kids got their dinner. It was all burnt, and we were told that if we send it back, it will take at least another 30 minutes to get another. I never got my salmon ceviche, which was supposed to be my dinner…. Sooo disappointing, and I would not recommend the restaurant to anyone. I mean seriously, how can you miss someone’s dinner completely????

This is a special place and I have never had a bad experience at Caffe Boa. The ambience is top notch for a date night, special occasion, or simply to enjoy some quality food and wine. The cheese and meat board to start is mandatory before moving on to some delicious pasta. Great wine selection and the service is always friendly and attentive. Will certainly be back and highly recommend. Thank you!

I’m Italian, landed in Phoenix in a business trip.I’ve tried so far many Italian restaurants within Us, during my trips. This one is simply the best i’ve ever tried! Location, service, food and wine, 5 stars !Location kinda amazing. The plates are really “European style”, elegant and sophisticate.Better than a lot of famous and prestigious Italian restaurants across the west coast

Tonight I dined with 5 other coworkers at Cafe Boa and Chris our waiter gave us the BEST experience in Tempe that we had received in 3 days! The food was delicious and the service was top notch! If you want great Italian in Tempe, give Cafe Boa a try! You won’t be disappointed!

I was so disappointed. We read about Caffe Boa in a guidebook. However, no one came out to even take our name to be seated. A loud group of kids got in line behind us. Some waiter recognized them and said, oh we have a table right here. I spoke up and said we were standing here first. He didn't greet us or anything and just said, I know they have a reservation, but then asked them, how many in the party? I seriously doubt they had a reservation, and I get that they were regulars, but I guess they didn't want anyone new. After a while of just standing there, we just left.

After reading a number of reviews and menus for spots around our hotel, we chose Caffe Boa. We weren't able to make happy hour, but honestly - that is the stop I'd suggest to others. Their bar area was very cute and there were happy hour priced options. It's a very cute place and the staff is lovely. As far as the food/drink goes, we ordered a $60 sangiovese. We were delivered a bottle of chianti which we realized after a few sips and brought that to the attention of our server who told us something like: "No, it says on here somewhere the region..." Ok, if the LABEL says CHIANTI, it is NOT a sangiovese. Either the menu is wrong or we were punked, IDK, but $60 is not a cheap bottle to accept a "mistake" nor was it an exceptional chianti. The flatbread showed up as a round pizza, overloaded with sauce and was soggy as a result. Meh - pass. The entrees (chicken parm & orechiette) were good but the latter was really rather peppery/spicy. Nothing on the menu described it as such nor was there any warning about that from our server. All said, I'd go back but only for a happy hour visit.

One of my favorite restaurants in the valley! Dined in last night and had a great experience. Well worth the wait during a busy Friday night shift. Tried this new drink, Rakija, and was pleasantly surprised. Great food (per usual) and exceptional service. The staff were welcoming and shout out to our server, Chae, who was super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend, consider reservations.

I appreciate good food when I see it, smell it, taste it. The butternut squash ravioli was heavenly and the flavors combined left me starstruck. Hints of lemon, hazelnuts, a dash of goat cheese and sliced cloves garlic with sage infused oil made the arugula on top not stand out but a wondrous amalgamation that I could not resist. I left nothing on my place so to speak. Dessert was phenomenal. You either get a cannoli right or you get it wrong, Cafe Boa got it right. Freshness is key and all ingredients used were decadent.Waiting staff was not as present as I would have hoped.
