Excellent. Tried the vegetarian sampler, and the Shiro Wat blew my mind. Let's just call it addicting.Decore is nice, place is clean. Staff is friendly, but place can get busy in a hurry

Food was and service was ?. The inside of the restaurant is pretty and the coffee was rich. Highly recommend. Also the vegetable combination was delicious. Very filling

Unique and great experience for anyone who has not had Ethiopian food before. This was my first right, and it was very good. The walls are decorated with art and items of Ethiopia, and add to the experience

Easily the best place I've been too in a while. There was no one when I went in and my food came in 2-3min. I had the choose 3 weekday special and absolutely loved each sample I ate. Please go here if you are remotely close at all!

Wonderful flavors! I will definitely come back, and bring friends, and recommend to everyone. That bread is awesome and so filling.

If you’ve never had Ethiopian food you should try Cafe Lailela the most authentic Ethiopian food in The East Valley ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. five stars !

Excellent food! Great atmosphere, wonderful service. I like that the menu was informative and that there is a variety of meal options. I chose a vegetable selection and was very pleased.

My King & I shared the veg combo the first time and it was really fulfilling, that we picked up. 2nd time we dined in and service was great! He was attentive and quick & we had the vegan combo for 2 that was very very fulfilling.

Beautiful food and unique experience. So glad we found this place. Perfect for those who are tired of similar dine out options and looking for something different. I am not familiar with Ethiopian cuisine or how authentic their food is, but it is darn good food regardless. We had the combination platter for two people, and it was more than enough to feed two very starving adults. So many different kinds of meat and vegetable ? Be aware however, some of the dishes pack some heat ♨️ We also tried the side of fresh made cheese. It was mild and soft- a fun addition to an already amazing food. The restaurant has vegan- and vegetarian- options, which is also nice. Tea and coffee are available on the menu and you can also buy packaged ones from the restaurant. Our server was nice and attentive. The entire place has a cozy, comfortable vibe. The bathroom inside the restaurant was clean as well.

In a word: yum. A very clean dining experience. Trust me. I’ve eaten at many an Ethiopian restaurant nationwide.
