I’ve always just ordered shaved ice from here so I was curious to try the acai bowl. I preordered the bowl and for $10 it is not worth it at all. There is more toppings than the acai base. I also asked for no coconut but they put so much in and on top of the bowl. I would’ve asked them to fix my order but it already took 30 minutes just to get my shaved ice, I didn’t want to wait any longer. When I went to pick up my order, there was only one person making shaved ice and one person taking orders. Two employees kept coming in and out from the back (idk what they were doing) but when they finally came out they spent more time flirting and messing around than helping out with the staff who were taking and making orders. I asked if they had the lychee flavor anymore and one of the boys gave me a disgusted look and was being rude about it. I’m assuming this job is probably the first one for a lot of the employees but they could be a lot more professional. Overall, disappointing service and products.
The picture doesn’t do it justice! So good! Bahama bucks has tons of variety so there is definitely something for everyone (even shakes and açaí bowls now). Also the texture of the ice is so much smoother and better than any other snow cone place.
This was the busiest bahama bucks I’ve ever been to! They got our food to us really quickly and it was just as good as always! I forgot to take a pic before I dove in. ?
My family had a terrible experience today at this location. First, we had some a*hole in a huge trailer cut us off in the drive thru. Then, we could not use our loyalty rewards card because "they no longer do that". The girl said we could get 30% off for the inconvenience but only at the beginning of the transaction. They have an "App" now for rewards. (I don't do apps for rewards since they take up too much room on my phone) When we finally get our shaved ices we ordered larges and noticed after leaving that 1 was a medium. We overlooked this since the place was VERY busy and we did not want to go in since (Covid IS still around). then I take a few bites of my Lime shaved ice and the middle is just plain ice because these young girls were not even smart enough to make a shaved ice correctly in addition to not get an order correct. (It may sound harsh but you only had 3 items to make and they are SIMPLE! Just 1 flavor and 1 size!!) Looks really bad since we had just come from Chick-fil-a and they had a complicated order and got it right and were WAY busier.

I have been a patron of this location since my childhood am very disappointed with my overall recent experiences. During my initial visit on 2/12/22, I ordered 5 items and they all tasted awful (4 ices and 1 smoothie). The ices hardly had any flavoring and tasted of chlorine due to lack of proper water filtration. The smoothie tasted strange, and not at all like oreos. The only aspects of the treats that tasted normal were the bomb pop toppings. I froze the treats and returned on 2/14/22 to request a refund. I was greeted kindly by Kailee, who attempted to resolve my grievance. She claimed to have called her manager and that the manager said she could not offer a refund, but could make x4 treats now free of charge and offer all x5 treats free of charge on my next visit. She shared that the employees who had originally made my treats were new and likely not properly trained. She assured me that I since she had been working here for over a year, that the treats would be made correctly. I informed her that as long as the x4 treats were made correctly and all x5 were remade upon my return on a different day, I would consider the matter resolved to my complete satisfaction; otherwise, I would request a full refund. She agreed. After tasting Kailee's treats, all agreed they tasted excellent. I then returned on 2/15 and was greeted by Jarod. I informed him of the situation and he said my name wasn't in the book. I informed him that had just spoken with Kailee yesterday and was owed x5 treats, per the resolution agreement and he said, "We cannot keep making free stuff for you," in a condescending tone. I asked to speak with the manager, which he claimed to be. I then asked for his superior's name, which he shared was Alicia, and asked for him to contact her. He then left, said he did, and the result was the same. My family absolutely loves Bahama Bucks and has made it a tradition to patronize here frequently. Unfortunately, after these recent experiences, we will no longer patronize nor recommend this particular location.
We want to This location on Saturday and they made two amazing drinks for my kids. While we were there, my 6 year old left her brand new Elsa doll. I called the store today, and they couldn’t locate it, but assured me they would keep looking. About an hour later, I got a phone call and text message that they had located the doll and would bring it out to the car when we pulled up. I sincerely appreciate the thoughtfulness to keep looking for my daughter’s toy, when they really didn’t have to. Great staff!!!
Great service here! We live out of town, but every time we come to Phoenix we stop in at Bahama bucks because the shave ice is the best around! SO GOOD!
Love me some Bahama Bucks! I go there at least once a month- I am obsessed with their cotton candy flavor. I keep telling myself I'll try something new, but I always default to this because it is so delicious! I like getting ice cream, cream, and princess sparkles!
This place has the best shaved ice, I wish I could come here everyday lol
