First off, I absolutely hate leaving a bad review. I usually find the good in most all situations. And this experience wasn't a complete disaster. The lady that brought the food to the car was pleasant! But I am compelled to write this, basically as a warning to my fellow Texans. If you're craving BBQ, I would steer away. The ribs were so incredibly dry and tasteless. Low and slow is how it's done folks! These tasted as though there was zero seasoning, and were flash cooked to leather. It's no wonder so very much sauce was provided! There was certainly an abundance of sauce that the brisket was swimming in as well. I ordered a pound of it, to get home to discover a pound of chopped beef swimming in grease and sauce. I still have no idea what the brisket would have tasted like were it not completely disguised! Sorry guys...but you've fallen way short.

Let's talk about these guys. I was in Phoenix for 2 nights attending a conference and wanted to try local places before I shipped off in the morning. Ordered on DoorDash. 7+ drivers cancelled on me. Not only did the staff call me personally and apologize, they included a hand written note saying they added additional stuff and all my food arrived warm and well packaged. And that's not even beginning to talk about how amazing the food is. If you want a BBQ place that treats you right, Andrew's is the best customer experience I've had, full stop.

This was our 280th 'cue stop in 32 states. $35.71 paid online purchased an order of brisket loaded tots, a quarter pound beef hot dog topped with pulled pork, and small sides of baked beans, coleslaw and cornbread. The pulled pork, brisket and hot dog were all well-smoked with good flavor, the pork and brisket being suitably moist and tender. The cornbread was decent, but the beans and slaw were ... beans and slaw.In sum, if you come here, spend your money on the meats. The sides are unremarkable. If you would like to read more reviews of BBQ in Arizona, or elsewhere in the continental US, you can consult our 49 published lists by following us, and then scrolling down through the current stack of reviews and photos. I ordered delivery from this place, and the sides were delicious! I enjoyed the beans and the cornbread. However, the brisket on my tots was pretty dry (though the tots were amazing) and the chicken sandwich was sour. I don't think the chicken is supposed to taste like that, so I didn't finish it. The cornbread was definitely amazing though.

Love their bbq, everything is great tasting plus very easy to heat up in oven for holiday parties ?

Surprisingly it did not suck and actually very good...Try it!Thanks Andrew!

The staff here is the friendliest in town. Superb customer service.

Disclaimer: I'm from the Midwest. I have barbeque standards. This place is phenomenal - we're talking darn-near Port-A-Pit chicken levels.First off: the meat. It's tender, well-sauced (not overly so) and well-portioned. It feels indulgent but not so heavy as to make you feel like you ate an infant's weight in beef, pork and chicken.Secondly: their tots defy the laws of physics. Through Christ all things are possible, yet I cannot make heads nor tails of their tots. They're covered in brisket, sauce, and melted cheddar and yet remain as crispy as they would fresh out an oven - as if to say "we have no place in this world except in your mouth"!Lastly: the Cole Slaw and Corn bread was a slam dunk. Perfect amount of tart, creamy, vinegary goodness with what I can only assume is fresh dill. Fluffy, lightly corny, and buttery bread with a sweet and crisp handle on the tongue. The accoutrements were as good as the entree! The people there are kind, observant, and generous, and my order was ready extremely quickly. We will be repeat customers, and I'll be praying to whatever God(s) there are that I never have to go another day without this place.

Best BBQ evvvveeeerrrr! Absolutely must try. We have been beyond impressed with everything we had and the sauce is to die for!!!! Can’t wait to go again, new favorite spot ?
