If you like soup in a Tortilla this is the place for you. Besides messing up my order they don't offer much. They have no pork. If you want shredded meat in a burrito they won't do it said that's for tacos only. And they won't add beans and rice to the side of a wet burrito. I could only laugh at the fact that this is labeled a Mexican restaurant. Save your time and go someplace else.
I disagree with the name including Mexican Food. Not much about this place is Mexican. They don't have horchata... The burritos are terrible. I ordered a steak burrito and I was basically red sauce soup in a tortilla. There was only red sauce and SOME meat. The ratio was way off and tasted horrible. For some reason, you can't get the shredded beef that's used in tacos to be put in burritos. "We just don't do that here" is the response you'll be met with, if you ask. Lack of options, poor service and terrible food. I'm still wondering how they are voted "Best Burrito in Phoenix 2021". Don't waste your time coming here. I wouldn't even feed this food to my dogs. In case you were wondering, I threw it away.
Overpriced for basic Mexican food. The lady with short blond hair has no costumer service at all, she saw us sit but didn’t help, so after a few minutes we had to ASK her about ordering. Now I know why restores empty. 1 tostada 5 enchiladas with rice and beans 2 soda for $52.34 not worth it! Go somewhere else.
The tacos were overcooked and the meat had a strange smell. My stomach is not doing so well with the grease. The service was OK. The prices are quite hefty for the amount you get. It would not have been so bad if the food was better. The only part I enjoyed were the chips/salsa and the rice. I hate leaving bad reviews and hope you were just having an off day.
Love Rito’s! I grew up in New Mexico and when I eat here it reminds me of the food there. Love the burrito’s and the cheese quesadilla add green chili. The hot sauce is awesome. This is my comfort food!! Thanks Rito’s for bringing awesome food to Surprise/Phoenix ?
Nice people, yummy food. Worth the higher price
The chicken tacos were great, the cheese enchiladas were decent, the guacamole was good. There were some mix-ups on our order, but they tried to resolve them and were very pleasant about it.
One of the better non-chain food options in Surprise. Enchilada sauce is good and food quality is good. You could certainly do a lot worse in This part of Phoenix.
For was great as always! Highly recommend you give them a try if you haven't already.
Most underwhelming restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. We sat at our table for 15 minutes before our food and drink order was taken. (There was only one other party in the restaurant). Another 10 minutes went by before our food and drinks were brought out together. Food was fine but definitely not worth the cost. Quality of the food and the portion sizes do not match the prices.
