First time trying Lucky House... Food was ready on time, and hot.Tempura shrimp, egg roll, shrimp chow mein, and egg drop soup, all EXCELLENT. Would have liked to have scallions in egg drop soup, but it was so good, it wasn't an issue. Staff was friendly.Good portions. I have tried a few Chinese food restaurants, being new to the area... this one is my new favorite!
Very pleasant and accommodating staff helped me load my bag with a big order went out of their way to repack it. ??The food was very good had an authentic taste better than the excessive sweetness of Panda Express. Wait time was good for a kitchen where everything is made as you order. I do wish you got a little bit more meat in the meals but you get a substantial amount. Also menu is very extensive there is almost too much to choose from which means I will definitely be heading back when I’m in the area!!
Our normal Chinese restaurant was closed on Tuesdays so we decided to try a new place. Our decision was as bad as the food. The appetizer came out last and looked horrible. The fried rice was bland and didn't taste fresh, but it was the best thing we ordered besides the water. The meat didn't taste like any we had ever tasted and I have been to every state in the US. Frozen egg rolls are better than this and don't expect much for bell peppers in any dish. We are both sick and will never go back.
My first time there. Flavor is good. But the amount of the noodles. On the pan fried noodle is not enough to satisfy and the fried rice seems like not quite done cooking or. Not enough water. It feel raw to the taste .
I ordered the general tso's spicy chicken and was very disappointed! First of all the chicken was rubbery and hard to chew and swallow, I only ate a few pieces thinking it might get better .It was supposed to be spicy but it wasn't even close. The fried rice was like white rice with soy sauce on it for color. All in all it was a bad experience and needless to say that I will not recommend this place nor will we eat there again. I took my order back to get a refund and they would not give me a refund. Live and learn I guess.
The customer service was hands down the best! The gal I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the flavor of the food was extremely bland, even when I put their chili oil on the food it didn’t help….no spice at all. Maybe if you have a delicate stomach it would be right up your alley?
Had sweet and sour pork there tonight and my husband had sesame chicken. Both dishes were just ok sweet and sour pork was greasy little balls with a lot of dough. One little piece of onion, no pineapple and two little pieces of bell pepper. Their prices went up substantially and the quality went down. Neither one of us will go back. We don’t like to give bad reviews but the above dishes were not good!
As one who was raised on Chinese/Asian food, I found that the food at Lucky House was good, but as an "American/Chinese" restaurant only. For those who have lived abroad in Asia or China, the cuisine here may be disappointing. Lucky House offers "typical" Chinese food that is flavorful and satisfying. However, this is not a place where you will find Asian native diners who appreciate authenticity.
I know that sometimes the holiday season can make things backup. Online said 40-50 minutes. When I got there, they said 20 more minutes, then at 20, they said 20 more... probably needed a manager present in front to assist these kids, they were not prepared to handle this.Lastly, don't tell a neighbor that lives behind you that delivery orders (such as Uber eats) get priority over people who came to get their own!! That is the reason for the rating of one star... fill all orders in the order they came in...Merry Christmas!
Best Chinese Restaurant in Surprise, hands down. The dishes were cooked with flavor and attention. Lunch specials are beyond affordable. Staff is kind and attentive.I appreciate the skill of the house chefs in the back and for not pushing a more Americanized menu. I will be only getting my Chinese food from this location from now on!
