One word...queso! I don't know how they make it but it's delicious! My go-to is their nachos with sweet pork barbacoa and queso. The staff is always friendly and the food is always hot and delicious. The wait can be a little bit especially around dinner time but they do a good job of moving people along. And you can't beat horchata with bottomless refills!
I go here somewhat regularly. During the day, service is good, food is good. But at night, especially Sundays, dont go here.... food is visibly old and not fresh, service is pretty bad... was just there tonight about 7:30pm, we were the only customers there. 3 different employees on the line saw us there, never acknowledged us, 1 was right in front of us. We waited for a few minutes, still no interaction from any of the staff. We ended up just leaving. Night staff needs improvement lol.
Ordered delivery, didn’t get to me for over an hour after I placed the order. The salsa and the guacamole were definitely not fresh, the salsa tasted like something died in it. Super gross. The guacamole was completely brown. Will not be eating at this location again.
Ordered delivery through doordash. Ordered 2 steak burritos. 1 enchilada style with hatch chili. There was no sauce or cheese on top as advertised, the very few chilies on top were NOT Hatch chillies. No sauce inside either. Steak was nice chunks, but overall my wife and I decided that this is only 1 step above Taco Bell. For a much better burrito try Chipotle for the same price or Filibertos or any of the different bertos places. All which are way better with more flavor and can get orders correct.
I had a steak burrito which was loaded with big pieces of meat. the burrito was huge rolled in a homemade tortilla and covered in a really good sauce enchilada style. I also had one of there fresh lemonades and payed $14 not bad for the quality of food,everything was so good!!also the staff was really friendly and full of smiles I will definitely be back!
Good customer service , they gave me a burrito split in half (17$) asked me if it was okay I was mad hungry and didn’t want them to restart . After two bites , the burrito completely fell apart . I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone .
I have in this location a couple of times no lines quick delicious food. I normally get there tacos I tried there salad today good dressing and stake
Well, 3 strikes and you are OUT! Worst catering ever. This is my 3rd time using Cafe Rio and the catering location on Waddell is by far the worst. They ruined my moms 80th b-day. First they were late and I had to call, then they show up without any of the catering supplies that I PAID FOR and it is in the contract that I signed they they will provide trays and stereos. They girl was practically running out my door and just dumps the food on my table. I have order here before and part of the reason that I use them is because they have always provided the stereos and trays and set up for me. NOPE, even though it says it right on my receipt, they lied and said that I was not suppose to get it. The food was cold, salty and smaller portions than ever before. I am so disgusted, The last time they screwed up on my order and gave me pork instead of beef. I honestly do not know why I gave them any chances as their customer service is awful. STAY AWAY!
Beautiful location. Choose it for outside seating & drinks on the patio. Cadi margaritas were amazingly big & awesome. Fish tacos were good not great. Luc was friendly Steve & kept us informed about our order since it got very crowded. Would go here again but order something different
The portion sizes on everything we ordered except the nachos was criminally Small. 10-12 dollars for a single soggy torta, or a 2 ingredient quesadilla is quite expensive considering drinks and silverware are self service. But the nachos were on point and earned y'all a second star.
