This review is for the food only. I have not been in this restaurant and have only had the food delivered via DoorDash.I ordered some chicken fried rice and sesame chicken. The fried rice was a huge portion which I made two meals out of. It was quite good with plenty of chicken and veggies which made it very filling.The sesame chicken is served with a small container of white rice and it was also very tasty. It is quite sweet so the white rice is pretty essential to balance it out, in my opinion. The sauce is very syrupy and even though I had it delivered and the chicken was sitting in the sauce for at least 20 minutes, the batter was still fairly crispy for the most part. A few pieces had soaked up a lot of sauce and were a bit soggy but that is to be expected with delivery.Overall I really liked the food and would definitely try this place again.

Waiter was excellent... Presentation was nice... Not my favorite dish yet in all fairness I will have a couple more dishes before I decide... I had Kung Pao Chicken...
Let me start off by me and my family frequently went here. The service in person is good and so is the food. We have ordered food for delivery on 3 separate occasions now. We place the order, put the sauce requirements in the order notes, call them to remind them, as well as the driver. And all 3 times they can't follow simple directions. Last time I drove 20 minutes to go get the sauce, then the lady at the counter argued with me about giving me one, this time I refuse. The staff sucks!!!! We will not be going back in person or ordering again.
I give the food an excellent rating. Wait staff is proficient but not friendly; I always feel like I'm being rushed here. It used to be one of our "go-to" spots, but the price of wine has gone up and it can now cost $40 for lunch if we each have a beer or wine. Food continues to be great!

We were visiting Surprise for a family reunion and ate at this restaurant twice. The first time e were a party of 5, and the second visit was a party of 12. Each time the service was amazing and the food tasted awesome. We're from Southern California, and have been to countless Chinese restaurants. Big Buddha is, by far, the most favorable. i would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal with even better service. Frank was very accommodating and made sure everything was to our pleasure.
If there is a number one Chinese restaurant in the West Valley, it is definitely big Buddha. My family and I have been coming here for many years. We judge all other Chinese restaurants against this one. Why? Because the food quality is superb and the service is top notch. Leading all to an excellent value for your money. The food taste amazing and the quantity is really superb for the value. The staff are always there to constantly top off your drinks or to see if you need anything. The only downside to this restaurant is the wait time. Because it is such a gem in the West Valley, everyone comes here and unfortunately they don't have enough seating so there's always a line. But if you can get here with no line, as well worth the dining experience.
Awesome food different style of cuisine refreshing... very nice communicative. Get there quick tables fill up fast.
