Awesome taco Tuesday deal, the owner is also flexible and accommodating with large orders. The food is really good!

If I could leave zero stars I would. This place was terrible there was something wrong with the carne asada it was like cat food. Beans smelled rotten and disgusting. The chimichanga was extremely greasy. This place was by far the worst place to come to in Sierra vista. Ordered 8 tacos and never even ate any of them because it was disgusting. They’re disorganized, dirty and inconsistent as they close earlier then what their time says as well.

I went in this place ordered 4 street Tacos 2 before 2 chicken, he asked if how I wanted them I said Crunchy. What I got was2 burnt beef Tacos and 2 chicken not so burnt, there was no cheese for the tacosthe chicken was dry and lacked in flavor all this for what food you couldn't eat best in sierra vista sad won't go back.I am editing my post when I checked the bag it seems this place reuses bags for your order really used bags from a store you shop at no thank

We tried this place last week because our daughter was visiting and looking for vegan options. Turns out that not only does Mi Yaqui have vegan options, they have an entire vegan menu! (In addition to their tasty non-vegan food)All 5 of us (vegans and non-vegans) were so happy with our food, that we decided to come back again 2 days later.Vegan items we tried were vegan Sonoran dogs, vegan cheese enchiladas, vegan quesabirria tacos. The star vegan item was HIBISCUS tacos which were Amazing! Non-vegans had cheese enchiladas, fish tacos, Sonoran hot dogs and street tacos of all sorts (including tripas, lengua, etc.) All of it was so good. Michael, the chef is such a friendly guy too, which makes this a place we want to return to.

I've been meaning to write a review since I went there just before Thanksgiving, 2021. My sister was visiting me in Phoenix from TN, and we decided to go hike the Chiricahua National Monument then drive to Sierra Vista to spend the night, then visit Tombstone the next day. Driving into Sierra Vista, we looked for places to eat on Tripadvisor, came across Tacos Y Raspados Mi Yaqui, and decided to try it. It was later on the Monday before Thanksgiving and there was no one else inside. A very unassuming yet clean and tidy little storefront with some booths & tables inside and a couple of two-tops out front. Michael, the Owner/Chef, was very friendly, accomodating, and was happy to talk about his offering. Michael, who is actually Cuban with a Mexican wife, worked at, and then bought the restaurant from the original owner, who was Mexican and had a Yaqui wife. My sister and I both had two taco plates. I had Tacos de Lengua & Cabeza, and my sister had Al Pastor & Barbacoa, and came with rice & beans. All of the meats were cooked and seasoned just right! The Cabeza was melt-in-your-mouth tender and the Lengua was tender with just the right amount of substance. My sister's Al Pastor and Barbacoa were fantastic! Micheal had a great variety of both authentic bottled and homemade hot sauces and salsas. These were the best most authentic tacos I have had since I had a business that took me to Mexico on a regular basis. Tacos Y Raspados Mi Yaqui is definitely worth a visit, and I will go there again the next time I am in SW Arizona!

I don’t understand the hype. I was warned away from this place by some friends that had an issue with the sanitation of this restaurant. I was convinced to go by a different friend. The restaurant is super run down and dirty. What I could see from the kitchen was the same. The prices were fair. The food was slow to come out. I did not like the flour tortillas. The meats were all pretty good. Paying was also strange and wasn’t explained well. You order at the counter but don’t pay until afterwards. We made it clear we would be paying separately but had to remind them who ordered what. Overall, it seems like they know how to cook but need to put work into the other facets of their business. I would not go back unless they cleaned up the space.

In my opinion is the best Mexican food in town very very good ??

The fish and garlic sauce meal is obsession worthy????The whole fried red snapper is also amazing .Tacos are delicious as well as the rice and beans. Portions are large . Chef Mike is a talented consistent chef. An asset to the Sierra Vista community. They deliver also.

I don't know how I've never found this place. So glad I finally did!The tacos were delicious. We ordered 12 tacos, which are only $1 on taco Tuesday (new family tradition starting now) 6 pork and 6 steak with the flour tortilla. They were cooked to perfection and soooooo delicious. My 5 year old is super picky and he LOVED them along with my wife and other 3 children. We are definately going to be going there every Tuesday from now on. The wait time wasn't bad at all and the food was perfectly prepared. The interior is clean and well lit with easy access off Fry Blvd.Plenty of parking and the gentleman that took our order was polite and professional. No mask required.10/10 would definitely recommend to others.

Doing good work, family joint, we need more of these kinds of places!!
