Met up with Gunny's BBQ at the Bisbee Pride Events and had the great fortune to be in the adjacent booth! From the moment the meat hit the grill, the delicious smells drew onlookers and patrons to the area as they sampled the varieties of meats and an array of amazing sauces. I was a early adopter on this five-star stand and it is of my BEST BBQ experiences! The sampler allowed me to mix and match the brisket, pulled pork and chicken with varrying hot sauces, and later, when no one was looking, I doubled back for sweet Italian Sausage. I tried the sampler before ordering my sandwich and the pulled chicken with the chipotle mesquite sauce was sooo delicious, with or without the sauce! wow! ?
We asked Gunny’s BBQ to cater our wedding of 80 people at Kartchner Caverns.We were told they would arrive at 3pm to set up. Not only did they not show up on time, we were unable to get ahold of them via phone.We went into our wedding ceremony not knowing if our guests would have dinner or not.Thankfully they DID show up.We had agreed to paying the rest of our bill when they showed to set up at 3. Because they were late we were already in our wedding suit and dress (ceremony at 5 and they were 2 hrs late).When told that we would now have to pay them the second half the next day- the owner had an adult temper tantrum. They even told my husband “you conduct bad business”.This behavior was uncalled for and unprofessional. We never got an apology for explanation for the lateness or lack of communication.

Went to a gathering on march 31st with Gunny’s barbecue as the Catering host… oh my goodness … best barbecue barbecue sauces he created.. I wanted to go back for seconds and thirds.. haha I highly recommend Gunnys catering.. best around ❤️❤️
Gunny’s barbecue was delicious, with or without sauce! We tried the chicken, pork, and brisket and all are worth ordering. Not to mention they’re super friendly and inviting.

Wonderfully moist meats (I’ve tried pulled pork, chicken and brisket- “Gunny Experience”) and delightful homemade sauces. Smoked applewood and Angry Gunny were my favorites. Crunchy, juicy coleslaw - yum! And the owner is a happy radiant guy! I’ve really enjoyed his food at the Angel Wings Church Event in Sonoita. Thanks!
