After a day of hiking, my brother and I stopped in for dinner. The ambience was classy and comfortable and the service was excellent. Our waitress was Geri, who needs to be singled out for her friendly demeanor. She made us feel welcome. As for the food, my brother had the pecan crusted trout and I had the meatloaf. Both items were served with au gratin potatoes and Arnold Palmers. Everything was exemplary. To cap everything off we had ice cream for dessert. We will definitely make the Golden Goose our go-to restaurant on future visits.

Love the decor, the food and the staff. The Goosetails (cocktails) are fantastic, especially the Goose Juice! The trout is AMAZING! Love the side salad and the chocolate cream pie too!

Overall a good experience, although the restaurant can easily be missed as the only signage was at the front door which wasn't very visible. The entrance is somewhat hidden and facing the parking lot. It’s the building with colorful umbrellas for outside seating. Our waitress, Judi, was very friendly, attentive, and helpful while trying to decide on what to order. Food was good and nice to know there were gluten free options available.

When we look for a restaurant while on vacation, we depend on reviews. This spot lived up to expectations - easy parking, reservation honored on time, GREAT SERViCE with a knowledgeable server, nice drinks and terrific food. We had a pork shop and fantastic butternut squash ravioli with a pink blush sauce. It was very tasty and the servings were generous. Not super fancy - just on pointe!

Family stopped by based on reviews and it did not disappoint. We bridged the lunch and early dinner crowd and were welcomed hot and disheveled from a long hike. All food was great - potato skins appetizer (3 per order), voodoo pasta, pollo nirvana, brisket burger and trout. Highly recommend.

Came here based on TA reviews. Nice inside with comfortable seating. Very good service the entire dinner. I had Cesar Salad which was a bit small in portion, but very good. Wife had Potato Soup, which she said was pretty good. Then came her Fried Chicken with Rice. The chicken was pounded flat, which changed the appearance of an expected chicken breast. The rice was good, and the chicken was just ok. I had the Filet Medallions with mushrooms. Very tasty except for a few bites that had gristle in them. A good meal all in all.

I had such a hard time deciding because of their expansive menu (which I worried about as well - I have a silly mindset that if there's a lot on the menu it's probably all pretty mediocre). Everything honestly sounded wonderful. We started with the bruschetta and it was phenomenal. My only complaint is that there wasn't more on the plate. As far as entrees go, I couldn't decide between the meat loaf and a butternut squash pasta and so I asked my server (who turned out to be the manager) to pick one for me and surprise me. She chose the pasta and it was everything I could have asked for. Not to mention the drinks were refreshing and beautiful. I wish we could have come back for the meat loaf! Maybe next time :)

I finally tried this restaurant on one of my frequent trips to Sedona. This was the last stop before heading home and I was welcomed by a very kind Jose who gave amazing customer service despite the fact that I was dining alone. Food was delicious, I’ll be back soon! Thank you ? Merri K

Judi was amazing at helping me navigate my food sensitivities. She gave great recommendations and we were very happy with what we ordered. I loved the unique flavor pairing of the orange basil dressing. The mushroom gorgonzola sauce was so tasty on my steak, I requested extra! Thank you, Judi, and the chefs!

I would recommend this place! The food was very good! One thing I was impressed with was the service. They were quick to fill the water glass and remove and empty plate. The staff was friendly, professional and polite— I have never experience this type of service. If I should return to Sedona Az, I would drop back in to eat the chorizo pasta!
