Delicious pizza after a hike was just what we needed. Nice quaint place with good quality ingredients and the owner was personable. Didn’t wait long for our pizza and reasonable prices! Would recommend for sure!
First time visiting, but unfortunately did not have the best experience. Their service is good, but the favor and quality of their pizzas is just not as good as some other reviews say. We order a Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza, and it was bland and soggy, the crust did not help either. But what it really made my visit worse was when we saw them telling people they were not taking any more orders at around 9:20 pm, when their business says it closes at 10pm. I will not recommend it, or come back.
DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!! A really cool name for really awful pizza.. I don't know who could possibly give this pizza a 5 star rating. Very expensive for an equivalent of a Red Baron (might actually be better) or low end frozen grocery store pizza. Flavorless and terrible crust! Let's also point out that they wouldn't answer the phone so we could place our order, it took over 30 minutes for one pizza and garlic bread and only 2 people dining in. No other orders being made prior to ours. We know. We stood there waiting and waiting and waiting. Shall I also mentioned they turned away another couple who came in 15 minutes prior to closing and would not take there order. They were told to leave
The service was super friendly. No complaints there. However, the pizza was pretty bland, the chicken I ordered on mine was INCREDIBLY dry.. like my fork almost woudn't stick it. I picked it all off and just ate cheese and artichoke on it.
Our hotel recommended this pizza place, cryptically telling us it was "different, laid back" It is pretty basic. A rather abrupt guy at the counter told us to find ourselves a table. It appears to be mainly a delivery place as there are not that many tables. The menu has pizza and salad but wings and other fast food items There is no alcohol available The pizzas we had were excellent - crisp bases, good tomato sauce and generous toppings, puts a lot of fancier places to shame We had accompanying salads that had a good mix of ingredients and little pots of dressing on the side The servers were friendly and polite Not much ambience, prices are moderate I have to rate this as one of the best pizzas I have had
After a long day of exploring it was nice to find this place where my husband and I could order something good without having to think too hard about it. It was fun, charming and I absolutely recommend visiting it. Wish we had taken the kids to a place like this when they were younger! Guess we'll have to take the grandbabies!
Wonderful pizza and garlic bread. They are friendly here and pizza came out quick. You had to pay for your dinner when you order it at the counter which was a little annoying because I like adding the tip at the end of the meal so I can gauge how much to tip. Other than that, great pizza with a yummy crust and good cheap prices too if you are on budget
I was staying at the nearby Rancho Sedona RV Park (which is great, by the way), and in the park map was an ad for Moondog's pizza saying that they delivered to the RV park. I ordered, and LOVED the pizza. Wish I had ordered on my first night instead of last night as I would have ordered more than once. It was delicious, delivered hot, and they offer green olives, which is always a treat.
I’m not sure if they were having an off night, but our experience was a bit of a mess. We tried calling in our order but no one picked up, so we headed there and a very unenthusiastic gentleman took our order. When we came to pick up, we were told by someone else they they were out of something in our order, so that was a bummer. The food wasn’t great. We got cheese bread which was literally breadsticks that had some cheese sprinkled on top. The pizza was pretty horrible. We couldn’t finish it.
