Great foodGood guacamoleMy five year old loved the burgerMore rice and beans please
This place is nice and clean and has lots of great options for food for the whole family. Easy to find and a big parking lot area. The staff was super nice and the drinks were great. Great place for the family or to meet friends.
Very tasty and authentic! I have been to many parts of Mexico over the past 30 years and this place holds its own. Very friendly and polite staff. I would highly recommend the chiles rellenos and corn quesadillas con flor de calabaza. And BTW - all here is homemade in-house. Corn tortillas, mole sauce, tomatillo sauce, red sauce - no ketchup to be found on these premises.
Brought my family of six here for a late lunch. We were hoping to have some more authentic Mexican food than what we are used too in Illinois. We were shocked that chips and salsa were not complimentary and the high price of the entrees. We had fajitas. The shrimp fajitas were overcooked and we're not worth $20+ dollars. Surprised that an 18% tip was added to the bill. Service was worth a 15% tip. We left with our tummies full but with a less than average food and service experience.
If you’re into overpriced dog food then this is your place! Their red sauce is basically spicy ketchup, their carne asada is just little pieces of bland gristle, their shredded beef is over cooked and bland, they didn’t honor their happy hour prices, hair in my food and their crew seemed surprised that customers were there in the first place. But our dog seemed to like the grilled chicken so that’s cool I guess. I really don’t understand how they’re still in business. If you’re contemplating coming to this restaurant, just go get a bag of dog food and eat that instead, basically the same experience.
We ordered the steak fajitas. We're just average nothing special. They never brought out salsa and chips to us. A family that came in after us and them delivered to the table.
Excellent friendly family run place..interesting additions to standard Mexican fare. Mole, Birria Cactus and more.
My brother and I had an early dinner at this restaurant. Service was friendly. We had an appetizer of carne asada French fries. Different, but actually quite delicious! I ordered the Chicken Tinga Chimichanga. The rice and beans were basic, but the chimichanga was superb!
We enjoyed dinner at Los Rosales and their friendly service and staff. Our meals were good but not great. I enjoyed my chicken chimichanga with the RED sauce. I highly recommend their house margarita to cool off the spice.
...and was just looking at some pictures of the place that I took to show you. I meant to write a review and tell you about the quesadilla I had. I guess on the menu it read to me all authentic and exotic: "Huitlacoche - corn truffle with sautéed ones and garlic." So I ordered it. It disappointed a bit. There wasn't much of any of that stuff in it so it was real flat. And I also ordered without rice. If I knew this quesadilla would be mostly all tortilla, I would've kept my rice. Better yet, I should've ordered some fat quesadilla stuffed with meat and cheese and veggies. Anyway, taste-wise this quesadilla was nothing special to be honest. Oh well. Two nice looking super solid local ladies were running the place by themselves it looked like. I don't know why I like them so much. I remember they were very friendly. I would come back to talk to them again. And try something else of course. Oh Hey! I ate indoors. Haven't done that or a while.
