We loved our dinner date night at the hideaway house!They have gorgeous views. Really interesting ambiance and a wonderful menu.We got a date night pizza that was really good. Flatbread with pear and pecans was really good too.We also ordered the roasted veggies with polenta. It was interesting. I wasn't a big fan but my husband seemed to like it.Overall a really good place, good ambience, good service and amazing views Make reservations in advance if you plan on dining here - especially over the weekends!
We visited Sedona while on vacation and stopped in for lunch. We had a large party of 14, were seated quickly and had an amazing view. After reviewing the menu we noticed a note at the bottom on the menu that said parties of 6 or more could only have one bill and gratuity would be added. We had 5 separate families at our table so we asked the server and manager how to manage that. They said their system did not allow them to create separate tickets so they could separate us to different tables so we would have separate servers. We said that was unacceptable so they needed to figure it out. Ultimately at the end of our meal the waitress brought us an ink pen where we had to calculate our meal totals plus figure tax and gratuity ourselves. It was a nightmare that took 30 mins to figure out and pay. They were unwilling to do the calculation themselves and showed very poor customer service. With technology today it’s ridiculous and shows owners do not want to spend money to improve customer experience. The food was great but this situation really overshadowed our experience.
We visited without reading the reviews and were so pleased with the comfortable and unrushed service, delicious food and friendly atmosphere. We had brick chicken and a white pizza- both were outstanding. Great flavor and aromas. We plan to return tomorrow again. Recommended.
Food was good but service was not. Policy was 6 or more people get one check and automatic gratuity. We had less than 6 but we’re still put on one check with automatic gratuity. We are a group of college students who certainly didn’t want to put a $200+ check for one dinner on one of our cards. When we asked to have the waitress make our checks separate, she refused to do so and said we should have asked in the beginning to make the checks separate. As we sat there trying to figure out how to split up our bill, she cleared the entire table and made us feel very uncomfortable. Will not be going here in the future.
Make sure you get a seat outside. The views are awesome. I had the grilled salmon and it was great. I appreciated that there were lots of perfectly cooked vegetables. My son had the Meat Lasagna and our server recommended to add some pancetta sprinkled on top. It was tasty suggestion. Eric, our server was great! He made the whole experience enjoyable and really took care of us!
Great patio dining. The service is outstanding as well. Enjoyed lunch outside while looking at the beautiful scenery. Prices are also quite reasonable. This is a hidden gem I love.
Good to know-this restaurant holds 75% of its tables for walk ins! We got there at 4:45 Ans only had to wait about 12 minutes for a table-we sat outside lower level and the view and breeze were amazing. Our server was Troy and he was great! Hubby and I both enjoyed our entrees and never felt rushed. Great experience
6 of us went to Hideaway House after a day exploring the red canyon. Tired, thirsty, and hungry, we were seated right away. Tonya explained the happy hour drinks and appetizers completely, several times as some of our party were still washing up. She didn’t miss a beat and wasn’t annoyed with us. She was friendly and extremely helpful, showing us other menu items as she took them out to other patrons, so we could see how they looked or how big items were. Her recommendations were a lot on and we had an awesome latte lunch. The cosmo martinis were awesome!! My date night pizza was unique and very tasty, and my husband said his lasagna was about the best he’s ever had. All of our food was delicious. Kudos to Tonya and your other staff members for making the end of our first full day in Sedona a memorable one!
