We had a great dinner but due to short staffing the menu was limited. Our service was excellent and the food served was delicious.

The entrance is tucked away in an alley so look carefully. Friendly service, great wood fired pizza! Pricing is reasonable. We sat inside and it gets loud when busy. Everyone enjoyed their food. Other than the noise, great ambience.

Very different kind of pizzas offered, similar to Italy. Very nice setting inside and out. Came here based on TA reviews and they got it right. Nice beer selection and served reasonably cold. I ordered Vesuvio with Burrato cheese…awesome. Wife ordered the Carnivora which was ok. I would order a more unique style pizza next time. Great service… definitely a recommendation.

Excelente servicio y la comida muy sabrosa

Great reviews led us there. As we waited in line, the folks leaving the restaurant were so happy. They went out of their way to tell you how wonderful their food and experience was that evening. The expectations were exceeded! Wonderfully fresh and flavorful ingredients! Staff was very responsive. Chef is very invested in his restaurant. He should be proud. Hard to find a better deal in Sedona at a great price! Come hungry and be satiated!

Got there right when it opened and it quickly became a busy place. Had live music playing and the lasagna was delicious. Would definitely go there again.

We decided last minute on a Friday night to check it out. Called ahead and spoke to a very nice person who let me know that they don't take reservations, but if I come in they will get as in as soon as possible. We arrived, only waited 10 minutes for our table. Everyone was very nice and the food was GREAT! Two of us shared a Caesar salad, fresh baked bread with homemade marinara and the Carnivora pizza. All the food was very fresh and delicious! Will definitely be visiting them again on our next Sedona visit.

We feel so fortunate to have Gerardo’s at the bottom of the hill from our winter home! Gerardo and Maria put out the best Italian food in a warm and welcoming environment. Sole proprietor restaurants are my absolute first choice and this one has all of the attributes that make such restaurants unique. Sedona has many high end dining options that are quite pricy and not very memorable, (as in nice views of the red rocks but not much to say about the meal!) Gerardo’s keeps the focus on quality ingredients and expert preparation. They use locally sourced meats and greens, high end imported Italian sauces, and their wine list has many excellent choices. Maria, Gerardo’s wife and partner was warm and engaging and when I complimented Gerardo he took a moment to acknowledge our visit. My friends from LA who enjoy fine dining in Venice Beach and Malibu were completely impressed by the appetizers and entrees. I’m almost afraid to submit this review since it will mean that even more people will find out about my favorite neighborhood dining experience!

Gerardo's isn't fancy. It doesn't take reservations. And it's absolutely delicious. We only had a reservation for our last night in Sedona so when we arrived in town, we were hungry and our hotel recommended Gerardo's. What a great recommendation. They have a paper placemat on the table but what I liked about it was that the whole paper featured the concepts important to the owner's. They talk about where they get their sustainable and humanely raised products. They mentioned their homemade pasta and cheese. They mention their vision. I just appreciated those points. The food was terrific. I had a ravioli which was delicious. My husband lasagna which he loved. And our kids equally loved their meals. This place isn't a Michelin type restaurant. But they do what they do very well and that's why they get 5 stars.

Wonderful fresh pasta, friendly service, family owned.
