You must book the day the reservations open for your date. For fun, I checked and there's no availability for 2 months. We ate until we busted open. The food was very good and the service was as well. We'll return.
We sat on the patio and it was a wonderful atmosphere a- quiet and comfortable. The Elote corn appetizer was yummy but a bit hot ( sour cream was a treat addition) . The grilled shrimp dinner was delicious. Our server was very attentive and helpful regarding gluten free options and allergies.
First and foremost - reservations are REQUIRED - I cannot stress this enough. Bar seating is NOT first come, first serve - reservations must be made in advance for all types of seating available. I made reservations online and was barely able to squeeze in to a two top two months in advance. If you do not have a reservation, takeout is available. Service was excellent. Jose did an amazing job explaining the menu and orchestrating a seamless night. I cannot imagine that evening going smoother than it did. Now with the food, I am partially torn. Do they have notable dishese that are good enough to stop by for - in my opinion yes. However, is this a meal that will make an impact on you to where you will remember for rest of your life - no. If in town again, this would defintely be the place I would take my girlfriends to have a fun girls night out. Unfortunately there were too many instances in which I felt what was served was underseasoned or generic. In order to score top marks, everything must delicious, not solely the house specials.
We treated ourselves to Elote on our last night in Sedona. After reding many reviews and securing a late reservation, we were not disappointed. The Elote corn appetizer was great. The queso was just ok. The entrees are big so we were able to split the smoked brisket enchiladas which were wonderful. The desserts looked great, but we were too full to attempt one.
My wife and I ate here and the food is excellent Don't miss the margarita which are excellent and the Elite appetizer, the fire roasted corn special of the house is a must have. Also don't miss the Mexican chocolate pie. I would certainly eat there again. There is great demand so be sure and get a reservation early.
The food and cocktails are just ok We started with cocktails My wife ordered the highlands cocktail she didn’t like it so she order another one called charro This one she drank about 3/4 of the drink just ok I ordered the blackberry tasted like sangria not much tequila so I ordered a shot of tequila and decided to drink the tequila straight left blackberry drink 1/2 full Elote appetizer was great The pork cheeks and buffalo short ribs were average Rice and beans were poor
Must stop restaurant in Sedona!! Make sure to make reservations as soon as you can, it is worth it!! Every single dish was amazing. Expect to be there for 2-3 hours for the experience! The margaritas were amazing!! The restaurant is a bit pricey but well worth the money. The staff was very friendly and helpful!! I can't wait to go back!
I loved this place! Our reservation was at the bar which was not only a fun social situation, we got the best bartender ever "Armondo" service at a very high level and margaritas as smooth as silk ! We ordered the Elote appetizer ,grilled corn, white Mexican cheese, cilantro and lime, served with a crispy corn tortilla. I ordered smoked brisket enchiladas and they were melt in your mouth good! Just a great all around experience and we ordered margaritas to go! Amazing food and margaritas and outstanding service!
We used Open Table and they literally texted me that my table was ready 15 min before our reservation!! Very personable server. Elote and Queso Fundido appetizers were SO DAMN GOOD!! Especially the queso. I ordered brisket enchiladas - very good but I was kind of full. My friend ordered chicken enchiladas and liked the taste but not some of the dark meat in it. My daughter ordered the shrimp dish and enjoyed it. I was really impressed how the busses so pleasantly assisted the waiters. A necessary stop in Sedona.
We were excited about our dinner reservations since everyone raved about how great it is, and were underwhelmed when we left. The service was good, but the drinks and food are overpriced and average.
