**refer to pictures** Further disappointed with the treatment from this establishment and its staff. I left the same review on only TWO platforms of a horrible experience I had at Dellepiane to which the owner’s replies were just plain gross. I now feel it is my due diligence to inform anyone I can of this situation so they can avoid any further mistreatment. I want to start off by saying our issue wasn’t with their bogus policies, it was with the staff and their treatment, attitude, horrible customer service skills, and discrimination towards us. However, after reading the owners replies back to my review, as well as some others, I now understand why the staff would think it’s OK to act way they do. They are learning it from him and his complete lack of accountability and responsibility. Take the criticism and learn and grow from the opportunity instead of arguing back with excuses and trying to pin the blame on us “not liking the policies”. Policies that do not make sense to begin with. For example, the “tables for 8 and not 4” only having 4 chairs when we were sat down in the first place. If these tables were truly reserved for larger parties there would be signs, obviously more chairs, and the hostess letting us know that information BEFORE SEATING US THERE. Server, busser, manager, or hostess.. The title doesn’t matter. This employee had no business acting like she didn’t understand us. She chose to speak to us in Spanish which we more than happy to accommodate. After the owner stated she “don’t speak Spanish”, I am further questioning her intentions. It now feels as though she was mocking us for being hispanic. Completely unacceptable. If the “policies” include rudely ordering around guests, attitude, and discrimination, then the hostess and staff are doing an excellent job. We do not “feel” as though you were being rude. You absolutely were. Own It. Just letting YOU know, as a business owner, you should be setting the example instead of letting your fragile ego cloud whatever professionalism you might have.
The rib eye was amazing! My wife had the filet mignon and it wasn't even a little bit disappointing. Highly recommend Dellepiane. THE BOMB!
After reading the managerial responses to these reviews which mirror my personal and very poor experiences, I just have to say there are many other and really amazing options to experience in the immeiate vicinity. Too many rules; no drinks before dinner unless you are eating at the bar ~ a bar that remained near empty on both of my visits. Too many pests; roaches ran freely on patio area. Too many untrained staff; terrible hostessing never even made eye contact, giving obscene wait times and turning people away with empty tables at 8:15pm, staff putting up chairs next to patrons eating and so on and so on. I am practically parched and these oblivious staff are talking shop and doing their nightly clean-up with customers in the store and I experienced this behavior on both of my visits months apart. I enjoyed the beef empanada and the steak that I had was very well prepared. Otherwise it is certainly not authentic Argentinean fare to spite the descriptions listed on the menu. Particularly if you are just traveling through or visiting, the VOC and Sedona both have exceptionally better venues to explore! Enjoy!
Excellent food with great ambiance! The empanadas are amazing, so many choices and all absolutely fabulous! But leave room for dessert...our party tried several and all were wonderful. Can't wait to come back and try the Peruvian chicken and the skirt steak! So many things to try....not enough days! This is our new 'go to' in the Village of Oak Creek!

When thinking of sedona, empanadas may not be the first thing you think about, but they should be. Upon realizing the insanity that was the traffic of sedona on a saturday afternoon, we decided to head slightly south to the village of oak creek to see where we could find some grub that wasn't an hour long wait. We were instantly seated at Dellepiane, and then were tasked with the decision of which delicious entrees to choose from. We both ultimately decided on empanadas, with us both getting the pork green chile, and she getting the beef mendoza and I the squash and corn. The pastry crust was wonderfully flakey, and I'm not sure they could have stuffed more wonderful filling in there even if they wanted to. Portion sizes were fairly decent, the fries definitely bulked it out more than the side salad my friend got. Overall, perhaps a smidge overpriced, but if you're trying to escape the confines of a congested Sedona, look no further.
We were only in Sedona for the night and our hotel manager recommended Dellepaine. We were not disappointed. My petite fillet practically melted in my mouth! There was something for everyone in my party. We were able to snag a table outside and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and ambiance along with some great food. Would highly recommend and hope to be back again one day.
Service: 10/10 we sat at the bar and Tanner was the best bartender. Delicious drinks and very attentive.Food: delicious! We got the bacon burger, Mac and cheese, and brisket asparagus appetizer. Highly recommend all dishesAmbiance: chill and upscale would frequent oftenWe were just visiting but would come back if we ever are in the area
We're longtime fans of Dellepiane, but have just tried at their new location. Its bigger than the old place, but just as good. We had elote, burgers, and empanadas. All were outstanding. We'll keep coming back!
We are locals and still take out occasionally. The burgers, french fries with garlic and slaw never disappoint. We are delighted they take orders over the phone from locals. Their “competition” in the outlet mall turns off online ordering and won’t even pick up the phone. I wish Dellipiane would expand their patio like their old place, we still don’t feel safe about the risk of getting Covid from dining indoors with other people.
