My husband and I had an excellent experience here, from friendly and prompt service to the choices and quality of the meals. He had an excellent Rio grande omelette. I put together a gluten-free dairy-free meal for myself, the server helping me out. They offer gluten free toast and pancakes. Most menu items offer ways to upgrade or customize the entree choice, very thoughtful. Menu was full of variety. Good value for the money. Definitely a winner of a restaurant in all ways. Look for it in the Safeway shopping center, located behind McDonald's. Consider it a hidden gem. I added a lot of photos a little earlier today.
This place was awesome! Our server, Cheyenne was pleasant, lovely, and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and my husband and I ate until we were ready for a nap. If we're ever in town again we will totally come here again.
Cheyenne was a fantastic server, offered great suggestions. Portions are so big we should have split entrees. Sweet potato pancake and ham were outstanding. Prices were reasonable. Fast service which I can appreciate
Came here for breakfast after a day of hiking, was seated right away despite being a sunday morning. Food came out relatively quickly and was good, mexican comfort food. I was actually not expecting to get as much as we got for the price, as well as tortillas with our meal. I got the huevos rancheros and my friend got the huevos garcia, and we were full for quite a few hours afterwards. Overall, don't expect anything fancy, but do expect to leave with your soul and stomach satisfied.
While in Sedona, my wife and I stopped in for a late lunch. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Our meal came quickly, and was extremely good. The food had just the right amount of spice. In addition, the prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed our meal, and if we are ever in Sedona again, we will stop in for another meal.
Excellent nutritious gourmet food at a really reasonable price. Fast, no waiting, which in Sedona is out of the ordinary.The service is absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond to please their customers. Most of them have been working there for over 5 years and they are really happy. As a business owner myself, that says a lot about the management. They received numerous awards for many years!!!Highly recommended!!!!!
Was not impressed with the food!! Had much better Mexican food. Good very bland! The service was great. Would not go back!
We had wonderful service from the staff. Food came out fast and was delicious. Shrimp Ranchero with the spicy tomato sauce was awesome!!! Would highly recommend.
The "original cafe jose", the best kept secret for breakfast here. I have eaten all over sedona, and have experienced the attempts at bkfst . With apologies about the food, but not the service. Staff and cooks do hand out there interpretation of eggs etc... Regular awesome, quality, breakfast with none of the Arrogance. Regular food for regular people. You don't need 101 options here! They have the BEST coffee . With the machine to do it. 12 out of 10 ..
Roy, Armando, and Corina made my dinner very pleasant. This was my first time here, so Armando recommended the three grilled meat platter (not sure what it was called). It was delicious and huge. It had shrimp, beef strips and chicken strips, It also cam with five tortillas, which is more than most places give you. The dish was sort of like a fajita platter, but it didn't come on a sizzling plate. It did have the grilled peppers and onions and the sides or guacamole, sour creme, and salsas. It also came with rice and refried beans which were very good as well. The atmosphere was nice as well. Highly recommended.
