Service was exceptional
Wallyâs is a great neighborhood restaurant with good food & service! We enjoy going frequently!
Our waitress was very cordial and patient in that we wanted to visit over cocktails at lunch time before ordering. The salmon salad I had was excellent in that the salmon bar was grilled to perfection and flavorful with the salad greens pleasantly bathed in a green goddess that wasn't overbearing with delicious curls of carrots and red onions. My partner's fish and chips was very ample on the fish side with a batter that complemented the fish without buying it in gobs of batter. We were never rushed. Definitely a neighborhood favorite!
Not my first trip to Wally's, but it may be my last. On previous trips the food was amazing and even though crowded and loud if the food is good we will come back. This time we invited friends. The pretzel appetizer was still great but the rest of our meals were average at best. Highlight of the night was our waiter who was very attentive.
Wally's never misses. Consistently good no matter what is ordered. Love our Wally's!
Very noisy at lunch. I was with an elderly friend and it was difficult to have a conversation. Food and service very good.
We had planned on eating outdoors, but the weather didn't co-operate, so we had a choice of waiting for a table or sit at the bar or at a high top in the bar. We chose a high top. Service and food was good. Unfortunately, the bar and a few of the patrons, including some servers, were very loud and therefore we ate and left.

We will never go here again. Third time we had a problem with our seating. On two previous occasions we had specifically made outdoor reservations because we had great weather. We were advised both times there were no outside tables available and wouldnât be for a long time. We were seated inside the very noisy restaurant. Went last night to give it another try. We had a reservation for an outdoor table because sitting inside is way too noisy and tables are too close together. The weather prediction changed and it was about to pour with thunder and lightening. When we arrived the restaurant inside was about 1/3 full. We asked to be seated inside and were rudely told they couldnât do that as it was going to fill up. The insolent hostess advised that was not possible bc as they we going to fill up with other reservations between 6 and 6:30. Ok, but that is not the issue. She made no attempt to check to reservation system to see if there were any cancellations or try to find a work around. Instead she offered us a patio table next to the misters and wide open to weather. On each occasion the hostess was rude and short. Off our list now, too many other great places to choose from with much better
