Excellent, authentic French cuisine. Highly recommended. Excellent wine list. The Grand Marnier souffle is amazing.
Authentic french food, lovely ambiance, great service
We came here for my husband's birthday dinner while visiting Scottsdale. The food was very good but the service canceled out the delicious food. I am ok with slow service since I completely understand being understaffed. But the older waitress was incredibly rude. When she brought us our drinks we said we were ready to order. She rudely told us that the table next to us had been waiting a long time and that we would have to wait our turn. I've been a waitress that is not how you address the situation. Then we were told we had to order everything at once. Which we were ok with because we know some chef's prefer this. She also said we had to order the soufflé now or we would have to wait 20 min after dinner or she could interrupt us in the middle of our dinner if we didn't want to order then. That was a very strange thing to say. So we went ahead and ordered the soufflé, Once we finished our dinner she came by and said ok we will start the soufflé now, it will be 20 min! When I asked her what the point of ordering it in the beginning was she got really rude with us and said it was already in and would only be 10 min. 20 min later it came out and then she came over and asked us sarcastically if that wait was so terrible for us. Not once were our drinks refilled the entire visit. We didn't even finish the soufflé at that point we were so tired of the rudeness that was ruining the birthday dinner so we left. That waitress needs to be let go.
There is nothing like having real French food in a casual bistro. The ambience is relaxed but there are no flip-flops or cargo shorts, thereby keeping a level of sophistication. Bon appetite, as Julia would say!
Food was amazing and the staff were super friendly. It was a great experience! Felt like i was back in Paris.
Save your money unless you like decent food accompanied by terrible service! We went for an early Valentine’s Day dinner on Saturday so we could experience their full menu and what a let down. First we were seated inside where there were about 5 other tables occupied and most people were seated outside on the patio. When we were finally approached by our waitress after sitting at the table for around 15 minutes looking over the menu, our waitress whom we think was the chef’s wife asked us for our drink order, appetizer, entrees and desserts all at once. We thought this was strange but thought it was a French thing and lined up with the disclaimer we got when making the reservation that we only had our table for an hour and a half, so we figured they were trying to streamline the service. Appetizer arrived and we had ordered the cheese and charcuterie plate but only got the cheese! Luckily we were only charged for the cheese plate and not the combo plate. Then we received our salads and just as they arrived our waitress approached our table with our entrees and realized our salads had just been served so she turned around with them and took them back to the kitchen. When we finished our salads our entrees came out and were lukewarm and my medium rare steak was now medium well. Our waitress never ever came back to our table and ignored us for the rest of the evening and then we waited another 35 minutes from the time our entrees were taken until our desserts were served. We only got them after another waitress, blond waitress with glasses , approached us and asked if we were waiting on our desserts. We told her we had been waiting for 35 minutes and also no one offered us if we wanted coffee or anything else and she immediately went to check and our desserts were then delivered to our table. She also got me some coffee to have with my dessert. The chef and kitchen are good but front of the house needs to be replaced. Go to Zinc Bistro instead!
Delicious food! Cheese plate was lovely, I had the cod and it was amazing. My friend had the sweet bread which she said was very good & rare to see served. The desserts were authentic & felt special. Excellent selection of Bordeaux.
Every course is perfection. And the service is impeccable. Fantastic hands-on recommendations by the owners. This is a love project by everyone who works here!
I lived in France for 10 years. Voila is truly authentic French food. From the starters to dessert, it was excellent! This was our first visit but certainly will not be our last.
Amazing. Voila French Bistro came as a recommendation from a friend. Booked to celebrate a wedding anniversary. So impressed. Amazing food and friendly service. Total gem. Will be back often.
