My take is that anyone giving this place less than five stars is just not into coffee that much. Yeah, sure, they can tell the difference between lightly roasted and dark roast. Let's get into the tasting notes, how were the cherries processed ... in that respect this place is so low-key you'd have to define it as coffee spot for introverts since you have to ask about the coffee -- they just don't make a big deal about touting themselves, but it is a BIG deal when you put this much care into a perfect coffee. And the snacks are pretty good too.
Easily the best in Scottsdale. 100% recommend supporting this shop. The staff are amazing, the coffee kicks a$$ and I have never had a bad order here. This is the go-to for those that want the best in the area.
So I debated how to rate this place because it depends on what you want out of it.The food? The Shorty burrito was great. Fair price for a short rib burrito.The coffee? I only got a drip and the quality indicates they are probably a good roaster.The staff? Friendly, especially given the rush.However, the outdoor seating is only ok. About 8 metal tables and chairs. No outlets outside and limited seating inside, so I wouldn’t plan to work long. It’s inside a business district so ambiance is only fair. They’re also somewhat understaffed at the moment.If you’ve got an hour to kill with a friend, to grab quality coffee and food and sit, it’s probably ok. If you’re looking for a longer work environment though, I’d probably go for one of the other coffee shops like Maverick or Cartel
Ordered quiche, a latte and an americano this morning. First time here. Was really excited to try a local coffee shop. Customer service was good and the vibe was cool. The espresso was ok, decaf americano was bitter. The “quiche” is a frittata as it had no crust. My husband wouldn’t eat it and he’s not a picky eater.

Perfect coffee shop vibe inside in this Scottsdale neighborhood joint… Friendly barista staff, soft chillhop music, and zippy cold brew. What’s not to love?
We got a Irish creme iced latte and a cappuccino. Loved the customer service and the ambiance! The drinks were very flavorful and you can tell the coffee beans are freshly roasted/prepared.
The Shorty breakfast burrito was one of the best I've ever had. Coffee is out of this world too!
Great coffees, especially the almond milk lattes. Haven’t tried the food yet but will do so in the future. So happy they’re nearby!
My bagel lox was delicious! I bought a lb of one of the last coffee types that Johnny drank. C U soon.
