If you are in the area or anywhere near it this is the spot to go!!! The food was beyond delicious! We came while we were traveling and since it was our first time there the staff did a great job at explaining everything and what they recommended!! This is a great spot to grab something Togo for lunch, a cute date night or for taco and margs with your friends! It’s so cute inside but outside is even better! It’s covered and has lots of patio seating options available!! Highly highly recommend if you are in the area, they will NOT disappoint! We got tacos with a side of Mexican corn which was the BEST we have ever had and a side of guacamole with their plantain chips SO GOOD!

This place is delicious. The ingredients taste healthy, clean, and fresh. I really really like their bowls. Their food does not disappoint. Also the vegan Chick'n is really good. Not sure if it's tofu or whatever else it is
Food here is amazing and I definitely recommend giving this place a try. The wife and I recently found this place while looking for dairy and gluten free take out options, we loved this place so much that we decided to eat here 2 days in a row. Their burritos, quesadillas, and taco salads are amazing! We got each of them gluten-free and the dairy free cheese tasted delicious!
This place is feels like a Mexican food version of Flower Child. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. It’s really delicious! I’ve eaten here three times and it’s been great. Really good decor. My kids ordered the waffle churros. They were tasty, but if you are expecting an actual churro, it’s not. It’s like deep fried ego waffles with cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on them and a salted Carmel dipping sauce. It’s a great place for vegans!
3 Strikes in a row; I'm out.. I've been a semi-regular lunch patron here for the better part of 2 years, placing to-go/pick-up orders 2-3 times per month on average. For most of that time the food has been good, but lately the disappointments have been stacking up. First strike: For the past couple months it's been 50/50 odds as to whether or not the extra avocado I order (and pay for) actually ends up in the entre. Second strike: Portion size has been inconsistent. I order the exact same entre, the exact same way, every single time, and the time before last, the taco salad I received looked like a "half-size" portion (which isn't even an option, for it to have been served by mistake). Third strike: Today it seemed like I lucked out and got an appropriately sized taco salad, with what looked to be the appropriate amount of avocado. However, the avocado that was present, was incredibly spotty/discolored, and the under-cooked/semi-raw looking beef chorizo was the icing on the cake. It's a good salad, but not good enough to risk food poisoning. I try to give the benefit of the doubt, but these slip-ups, which seemed sporadic at first, are getting too common. I simply do not have the time to drive all the way back to the store to have order issues like these rectified every time they come up (which lately, is nearly every time). For the $ being paid, I shouldn't have to sift through my taco salad to make sure the beef chorizo is cooked all the way, or that the avocado isn't a bruised over-ripe mess (let alone present), before walking out with my order. It was a good run, but from here out I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
So good! Ordered the taco salad and guiltless burito. Both were excellent. Highly recommend this place. I did take out, but cool place to dine in.
Quality wise I would give this place 5 stars. The burritos are really good, the ingredients are real and have real flavor compared to many others around Phoenix. I also like the many options for vegetarians. Negative point is the long waiting time to just get 2 burritos and the fact that you can’t pay cash. (We are from Europe and none of our 6 (!!) cards were excepted which is very annoying) also it’s a little bit too overrated to be honest, even tho it’s good - the portion is too small compared to what you have to pay for it. (30$ for 2 burritos is quiet a lot)

My husband and I visited Tocaya a couple of times during our stay in Scottsdale. We loved the food each time. I liked the variety in their offerings, such as the cauliflower rice in place of white rice and their choices of cheese. I appreciate the vegan and gluten free options too. The staff at the register were really patient in helping us navigate all the choices. My husband and I agreed — we wish there was a location where we live!
