Great place loved it. It was my first time traveling from Florida to Vagas and it was right down the block from my hotel. I HAD FUN.
Outstanding. I don’t drink and I’ve never came in here but after a car ran straight through it’s brick wall they put a sign IN THE WHOLE: “#1 hole in the wall” genius as hell. Drink here!!!!!
In short: Drink somewhere else if you have a conscience.Buddy of mine is a well-known figure in the local community. Does a lot for the school districts in greater Tempe/Phoenix and a lot for the ASU community as a Sun Devil alum. Unfortunately, the staff were absolute a-holes to him because he has a slight speech impediment.A bartender myself, you know the signs of a customer who’s been overserved, and it’s fairly easy to tell the difference between that and someone who struggles with a few words but is otherwise completely cognizant. No this isn’t a “cancel culture” moment, it was painfully evident that this was a bartender who wanted to feel powerful, refusing service to a customer they decided they didn’t like. Complete weirdo behavior.Not even close to a nice enough establishment to be snobby along with the rest of Scottsdale. Get drinks somewhere else

So this is The Well. I remember this place when it was Pizza Hut. This is going back into the 80's. It was a few different places before it became the Well in 2006 but it stuck. It's an awesome local place, opens at 6am if you're into that. It's a dive bar that is perfect if you're looking dive.
Fun hole in the wall bar with inexpensive drinks... bartender was very friendly and welcoming. She liked a good drink and quick! Not a fancy stop but just what we wanted!
Great little spot. Very friendly, as if everyone is regular family. My go-to after a hard day! Wendy is AMAZING!
