Traditional, funky fresh, you name it, they've got it! From speciality flavors like PB&J, Creme Brulee, and Fruity Pebbles, to traditional glazed and cake donuts, this place serves it up with an easy smile. The motto is Mahalo and in addition to the delicious flavors, they've got cute stickers to boot! (The turtle donut sticker sells out the same day they arrive) When we were in the area, there was heavy construction going on the front of the building but The Local Donut is still open and operational - just watch your step! We tried the Strawberry Shortcake, the Cinnamon Crumb, and of course, the glazed traditional. Worth checking out and getting your sweet fix if you're in the area!

Price came out to $22-23 for 6 donuts. The donuts I got ranged from $3.5 to +$4 each. I expect a lot from a donut that is over $3 to almost $5 each. They are a good donut but price wise I’d say worth half what they sell for.

Amazing donuts. You can order their staple flavors in several different styles, which is really fun. Also they have kolaches! This place is not to be missed if you like donuts and are in/around Scottsdale.

Hands down the best donut shop in Arizona. This location is in Scottsdale off Hayden and they make the donuts fresh everyday. I love the option to order ahead online for the specific ones that I desire or the fact that I can call ahead to order. My favorite donut is between the PB&J or the Pineapple fluff donut. Get there early because when the rush hits, it hits hard. The cleanliness is good and everyone is so friendly. They have to work on keeping the dinning space together but I'm so happy with The Local Donut.

We are from out of town and wanted to find a better than your grocery store kind of donut. This is the place. I would put it up there with the other gourmet specialty donut shops like Voodoo Donuts, Blue Star and The Donut Bar. Loved the variety of flavors (and your classics too!) The staff were so friendly and the donuts were worth every Penny. My personal favorites were the chocolate cronut and the strawberry mochi.

These donuts are pricey but the price you pay is so worth the experience you get. These donuts are fluffy and taste amazing. They look amazing and taste even better!!

I've had donuts all over the western US, including a baker's dozen tour of Utah and I would put this place in the top 2!!! They were amazing! The staff were super helpful. And I found myself wishing I could stay longer just to eat the goodness they provide! Creme Brulee, maple bacon, and blueberry cake are phenomenal!

Great selection, kind attentive staff, the dough is SO GOOD. Happy to have found this place while on Scottsdale for work.

Not bad. Not great. I like that sell kolaches and other non-donut items. The staff is, well, almost zombie-like, not unprofessional, just lacking any enthusiasm considering they hype this place gets. I’d agree with many others, even the 4-5 Star commenters that Bosa makes good donuts for 30-50% less.

Solid donuts. A tad bit cakey which I love. I got the lemon filled. It has a lot of filling, but tasty. I also got the chocolate frosted with sprinkles, which is my go-to. This is not Hurts Donuts, but it met standards. The place is kinda dumpy and dirty.
