Had a reservation for a friend's birthday. Went there on Friday night & spent $300 in 30min. We were a quiet group & went downstairs to try karaoke...Rudest staff I've ever met! I seriously have never experienced such unexplained hatred. It's certainly worth mentioning that I'm a white lady & they kicked out my Native American friend with no explanation or reason given while I was in the bathroom..It was such a dirty & disgusting experience. I had no idea that people could be so blatant in their racism.
Great food and drinks. Sat on the outside upstairs deck. And the server was great. No issues would recommend. Went there twice when we were there
The food was DELICIOUS and the service was EXCELLENT. Our server, Jenny, was wonderful. We definitely recommend eating here.
My wife and I stopped here for a drink and a late snack. We asked to sit upstairs. After being seated we were told the kitchen is closed, which is fine (not counting off in the review for that). My wife ordered a margarita and I ordered a beer. Some more folks came upstairs and were discouraged from sitting down as they were told the upstairs closes at 11pm. It was approximately 1030. Service was not too good, and it took a long time for the drinks and the check. Our bill was supposed to be a little over $18, although I was never given a receipt. The waitress took my card and disappeared. About 10 minutes later, the table next to us asked if my name was Eric. I said "Yes, why?". One of the girls said "I think we have your card." Sure enough, their bill had been charged to my card, $76.18. I informed the waitress when she came back and she said, "Oh my mistake sorry, your bill should have been $18.23. I will fix it". Another 10 minutes go by, she comes back with my card but no receipts at all and tells me "I took care of your bill since it was my mistake. I voided the other transaction and I won't charge you". I was hesitant because there were no receipts or anything showing a voided transaction. She said she backed off the $76.18 charge and it was all taken care of. It turns out she didn't do anything, hence why there was no voided receipt. I was charged the other tables bill and am currently disputing with my bank. I can't recommend going here, as even if I hadn't have been ripped off and lied to by the waitress, the way they were closing the top section and forcing people into the overcrowded bottom was annoying, especially given that it wasn't even 11pm on a Friday night.
Appeared they training new staff or this was shift change or something. We sat a good 20 min before someone came to take our drink orders. Then after our food order taken another waiter came and introduced himself we were just starting out. Food was good, prices reasonable.
Great food. Great ambiance. Upper level is nice for sitting and people watching. Lower level is nice and shady. There's also another bar inside.
The lavash flatbreads were unusual in that they all had the same type of havarti cheese, which seemed odd to me. My mojito drink, which I expected in old town would be authentic, was very weak and in a larger glass than I've ever had. It didn't taste quite right and I didn't finish it. It felt like a soft drink with some alcohol and mint leaves floating around. I didn't taste any lime. Maybe it was lime soda. In general the outdoor space on the roof felt nice to be outdoors, but if felt old and tired. If you can't sit outside anywhere else, this is a better choice than other crowded locations, but keep your expectations in check.
