The bar is awesome and the drink’s tasty, but every employee is emotionless. Not one smile or friendly conversation. We frequent bars and restaurants based on the service and personalities of the staff… this place is a 1 based on staff and ranked a 2 overall because the atmosphere and drinks were a 4-5. Would love to return if the staff had personality. Too bad!!
Loved the vibe of this place so much! They had the cutest art and decor and the food and service were top notch as well. We ordered the wings, truffle fries, stuffed mushrooms and filet mignon bites and everything was cooked perfectly and delicious! The drink selection was good and they have some really cool specialty drinks as well. Can’t wait to come back to try more of the food and drinks! Definitely a new fav date night spot!
great service, great food, great atmosphere. We had the shrimp wrap and the skirt steak tacos. Shrimp wrap had great flavor, steak tacos OK. Surprisingly limited beer selection, and the interior of the building smelled horrible (we sat outside. in the evening in mid-May, Scottsdale is warm but dry and enjoyable outside). As long as you dine outside at this place, you will enjoy your evening.
The Beverly is such a cool hip spot to hang out with friends or coworkers. The drink menu was absolutely amazing and I had trouble deciding in which fine aperitif to partake.There’s a different size and style table as well as the bar to house any of your seating desires. The staff is phenomenal. The bartenders are truly talented and the wait staff are attentive and kind. We had a lot of fun there.
Every time we come here we’re never disappointed! Good food, great drinks, and service. Allegra the bartender is the best!
First time visiting this establishment, and was not disappointed. Great old time, speakeasy roaring twenties vibe. They have an extensive drink menu that they put a fantastic twist on some of the traditional drinks. Definitely try the old fashion. They have some tasty appetizers to enjoy with your drinks. A little bit of a walk from the old town shops, but well worth it!
Great ambiance, but wait staff could figure out who should have been covering us. Food was okay but seemed to be a side product for their cocktails, which were great.
Happy hour until 8pm?!? Yes, please! Fantastic, old school cocktails (I had a lovely French 75). Hubby and I shared a delicious house burger. I don't usually get too excited about burgers but this one was super tasty! Great cocktail lounge atmosphere and friendly enough service.
Unfortunately, I have to give this place a one star. My compliments to the host for seating us when we had a group of ten people requesting a table at 10:30 on Friday night with no reservation. But it was all downhill from there. We came here for the fact it was a “cocktail bar” with a nice ambience. The drinks were nothing special, low alcohol content with no extra flair- starting at $14. We asked for espresso martinis and the server told us that yes they had them but failed to say they didn’t have espresso or coffee. When we got our drink, it turned out it was just baileys and rumchata… The service was terrible, and very delayed on all of our requests. We asked the server for more water and she told us that they were all out. Excuse me? We spent over $500 on cocktails and they treated us like we were asking for too much by requesting water. The bathroom was out of toilet paper and looked like a disaster.
Renee is the best host I’ve ever had! Never had such a personable, lovely, and friendly host anywhere! Love this place! Between Renee and our server I will definitely be coming back! Also OMG THE HAPPY HOUR! Amazing deals, fabulous food! ***Edit to add I cannot stop thinking about the wings! Amazing! Best wings I’ve ever had!***
