The food is good, but I just had a terrible experience. This restaurant has the ability close out your check in your mobile phone. I closed mine out and gave a tip. My rude waiter asked me if I wanted to close out my check. I told him that I did on mobile payment and he said, I meant with tip????? With Tip??? Why in the world would you mention tip. I already did. So rude.
I go to Taphouse quite often as they do make their own beer and some of them are awesome. But the food is bland and ridiculously priced. $22.00 for fish n chips? $26 for lobster Mac that had 3 pieces of lobster and no flavor? Just drink the beer, food is avg at best
Great service, amazing food, enjoyable dining atmosphere. Even have their own hard cider, which I really enjoyed. Couldn't ask for more...
My husband and I came in for dinner during our trip to Scottsdale. We sat at the bar and the bartender was not happy to be there. He even told us that. My husband got a dirty martini and I got a vodka soda muddled lime. His martini was warm with no olive juice, and my vodka soda had no lime, just a dried up lime slice on the side. We would’ve had a few drinks but left after the first one without even finishing them. We ordered the chicken wings and they were decent. The outdoor eating area looked fun but because of the poor attitude and drinks, we will not be back.
Reserve a table. Nice atmosphere, good beer, friendly staff. The waiter did forget about us, but we weren't in a huge rush. The food made up for it. We tried the buffalo chicken pizza, YUM! The cooks killed that buffalo sauce! Also, I got the Great Salad with the tuna on top... YUM x2!! Worth every penny. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
Great service! I had three Taphouse Burger and it was huge and super tasty. Happy hour specials for both did and drink were a deal. All the rest is our party was happy with the meals.
Everything was good and cleanLacking fish in the fish tacos ? won't be ordering that again. ? Royale with cheese was excellent! Pretty good salad as well.
What can I say other than the chicken salad was one of the best I've ever had! Got there a little late in the evening, Valentines Day no less, and the server was still happy and very accommodating. Roses at the end of the evening were the perfect touch!
First time eating here. We chose this place because it's a taphouse with about 30 beer choices on the menu. But, they were out of all but about 4. Food was very good but the service was terrible for a party of 3. Plenty of wait staff for the few customers there but the staff's focus was on anything but their customers. First, she brought the wrong beer. Then, I tried to get her attention, but she was sitting in the back texting on her phone. Food was very slow to arrive at table but it was really good. When we were finished they never came to clear our table until she came with the check. I know that restaurant owners are struggling to get sufficient staff right now but the staff didn't appear to be new or inexperienced. They simply did not provide good service. They put texting on their phone, making up napkin and silverware rolls, chatting with each other, over customer service. Won't be back. Too bad, the lamb pops were amazing!
Came for brunch and were reminded we could still order for ten more minutes if we wanted breakfast. We had been there before so we ordered right away. When we were served I was given the wrong order and was told I could send it back if I wanted. I tried it so my husband’s meal didn’t get cold in the meantime. After I tried it I asked to return it for my original order. They advertise a monkey bread that we asked about and were told , “yeah, we ran out”! So, while we waited, the manager/host came and said he was comping our meal. When my Benedict was served it was two fried eggs on top. When I asked our waitress for the Hollandaise that was supposed to be served on top, she disappeared and our “gracious” host showed up table side and said “that’s why I comped your meal, the kitchen threw away the Hollandaise”. I said “I’d rather have known and paid full price”. I got a shrug and he walked away. Terrible service, terrible solution! This customer won’t return!!
