My wife and I had a great time, we ended up having a later than expected lunch so when we got there we were not too hungry and decided to have a drink and appetizers. Our bartender was great and recommend some great pairings of a few different naan varieties and chutneys. They also brought out a special house hot sauce. Everything was great and the atmosphere was very nice and interment. I would love to come back and explore more of the menu. This is a great date night location, or if you're just looking for good drinks and food.

We have been in search for the best Indian food and this is it! You can tell that it’s a family ran establishment that really cares about their patrons and the food they put on the table. The service was exceptional and the owner even took the time out of his day to come and talk and share stories with us. The garlic naan and butter chicken was AMAZING! We will be back. Highlight recommend.
This restaurant is worth the 5 stars! I was here one night and had the time if my life with family. You will never find socializing and laughter with the waiters, let alone the OWNER, at a different restaurant. The owner even spoke spanish and made jokes with us. The atmosphere here is great and I would definitely come back. We all knew nothing about the food and the waiter explained everything perfectly and we enjoyed the food greatly. I recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends. The owner gave us so much advice as well. 10/10!
This is the third time at Taj Mahal and the food is always outstanding. The drinks are fantastic as well.
Food was decent, took some time to bring it in. Ordered gobi manchurian, chicken tikka, paneer masala, bullet naan and taj naan. The bullet naan was quite dry and wasn’t all that spicy. I liked the curry, decent portion size. Gobi manchurian had a strong turmeric flavor, not at all what I expected from the dish. Overpriced for the quality and quantity.
Great Indian food. The mixed vegetable appetizer is great! I had Shrimp Marsala, Mild-Medium heat...could have medium+. Th3 Naan is amazing. Super friendly and attentive staff. Atmosphere is laid back in a great space in Old Town.
Great food and ambience. The Thali plates were a good value, and we were so stuffed! Loved the music and cleanliness. Freddie was an attentive and kind server. He made great menu recommendations too!
