Three of us just went there for the first time, and to a person each feel it was the worst ice cream we ever had. I swear my vanilla had pieces of paper in it (some sort of foreign object I had to keep spitting out), while the other two described their mint chocolate chip as "earthy", as in it tasted like there was dirt or twigs in it. Won't be going back there.
This is a small and simple retro sweet shop. They have several sweet treats and candies to purchase by the pound, a case with a handful of baked goods, and a dozen or so traditional ice cream flavors. The ice cream was very good and generous scoop sizes. The place is cute and colorful and reasonably priced.
Ice cream hand made cones toppings and candy lot to choose from cake pops and More Even HAD PIE ?..POOR YOUNG LADY had a large crowd before us and sampled all ice creams and did not tip her lucky my husband caught it and gave her a generous tip .... PEOPLE PLEASE TIP, HARD WORKERS.. DO BE THAT WAY..
The “kitchen sink “ ice cream is the best thing to happen in this world since sour dough bread was invented. Amazing!!! Also super cute space and great staff!!
Very clean. Not a whole lot of variety of candy. They do have pies, ice cream and sell candy by the oz.
This is a really cute shop, the ice cream is great, but the poor kids working here are hopelessly confused. They made a malt for the first time - at our request - and it was inedible/undrinkable. A for effort. Terribly executed. But they provided service with a smile so keep practicing those malts and they'll be fine! :)
I ordered the Blondie bar and I was very disappointed. It has an overwhelming taste of Caro's syrup or something like that. Whatever sweetener it was made it taste awful. I ate three bites and through the rest out. That's very unusual for me.
The butterscotch pecan pie is to die for. The coconut pie is equally superb. Love visiting this place.
The ice cream and cookies are just filled with sugar that makes you almost sick. I’ve tried this place twice and I’m done. Never again.
Sweet provisions is a wonderful little gem in the McCormick Ranch neighborhood. The location is perfect - Among small locally owned coffee roasteries, sheik and modern Resturants, and footsteps away from a perfect walk around the lake. The interior has a retro feel with a whimsical candy assortment throughout the establishment. Their pies are all homemade and each one is more delicious than the last. They also offer delicious milkshakes and sundae offerings. Families from the surrounding homes can be seen biking to Sweet provisions to catch up after a long day in the park. Eat here and you won't be disappointed.
