We had a friend tell us that this was a great sushi spot. It must have been an off night as many items we ordered were not fresh. We left an entire order untouched and no one even bothered to ask "how was your meal".
Really great Japanese food! Highly recommend. Sashimi is very fresh. Katsu Donburi and sushi are also very good.
Sashimi is excellent! Service is pretty slow but they are friendly. Beware of the dynamite, last few times I've had it it was not very fresh and tasted spoiled. Other than that, everything is usually pretty consistent.
Tucked away in the shopping center, it took me a minute to find it. First time trying and I was not disappointed. This is the only place so far that I found that serves soba. The accompanying tempura was nice and fluffy and it all hit the spot. This is the first place I decided to try their tomago and it had that perfect sweet and dashi flavor. The overall prices are bit higher than a lot of other places but I taste the difference in quality fo sho. Definitely coming back to try all the other things on this menu, cuz they offer quite the variety.
Sushi Sen is consistently amazing, super fresh, excellent quality and good sized portions. Their staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

Go-to Japanese restaurant in Paradise Valley!!It can get a little busy, so reservations are recommended. But, the sashimi and rolls are fantastic! If you’re looking for cooked Japanese dishes, their menu, especially the Korokke Curry, is excellent as well.
Me and my family love Sushi Sen. The food is always really good and the staff is so friendly and helpful. They have a really good happy hour as well! Half of my family is vegetarian and we can all find stuff we like here.
Do not recommend ordering from Grubhub! Not sure how food is in the restaurant. My roll literally fell apart, you can see how sloppy of a job they did for nearly a $20 roll. My soup was half full… could you get anymore stingy? Wouldn’t ever order again from them.
I’m not the big fan of sushi or sashimi, but I enjoyed curry Katsu and tempura udon so much. But due to high demand of delivery order, we waited such a longe time for sushi and sashimi. I suggest focusing on dine in customer mainly to provide better service and be faster instead of delivery order.
