Good food, great service for our very large party.
Had a really nice experience eating at Starlite BBQ. The place has a huge patio with lots of seating for large groups.The complimentary cornbread was awesome. The portions were also huge. Fried pickles were stacked high and the Mac N Cheese side was enough to be its own meal! My only negative about this place was the flavor of the pulled pork. It was cooked well but didn’t have a ton of flavor. Thankfully they have four really good sauces which more than made up for it.If you’re looking for a cool little barbecue place then you’ve found it. I’ll definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the large menu.
This place has some pretty good BBQ. We got the brisket and it was good, but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. They also finished it on the grill, which was a new take. We started with the fried pickles and it’s a huge offering, more than two people can eat, probably enough for 3-4. They have some excellent strawberry lemonade and the SIDES. I got the rainbow carrots and they were cooked similar to roasted potato and genuinely the best carrots I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes are also incredible. The cornbread is just okay, I’d probably pass if I went again. Overall, I’d go back and probably try some of their other BBQ dishes.
First time here. We ordered the beef brisket and were surprised that it can dry. No sauce at all. There were 4 bottles of sauce on the table that you could add, but I was expecting moister meat. The fatty sections were moist, but the rest was quite dry on their own.The sides were very tasty and generous portions. Excellent service, too.
Terrible service and bland, cold food. Drinks were not brought out until 30 minutes after we sat down. We had to ask another server if we could get the tap beer we ordered. Pulled pork sandwiches were very bland and cold. Asked for mac and cheese with bacon added. Server went back to the kitchen to check on it and never came back out! We were charged for it. We also had to ask for the sauces to be placed on table. Food expensive for the quality. Would never recommend to anyone!! Go somewhere else.
I was really excited to try this place but was disappointed. I did hear good things about it but maybe they had an off night. For the appetizer we got corn bread and wings. Wings were delicious, the corn bread was ok. The ribs were disappointing, as I was expecting them to be "fall off the bone" tender and they were the opposite of that. Collard greens were very bland and after tasting them, I did not touch them again. The fries were great - salty and crunchy. Our server was just ok - didn't seem like he wanted to be there really, and we hardly got checked on or had plates/glasses cleared.
Great spot! Loved every dish that came out of the kitchen. Mac and cheese was ridiculously good. Complimentary corn bread was skillet cooked to perfection. Had a blast hanging out here!
The service was the fastest I've had in the entire country, and I've been around. The buffalo chicken wings were crisp and just right. Not soggy, messy, or overly seasoned. Cauliflower was uniquely special, and yummy. The brisket was really really good. I don't like fat on my meat and the was none... Just this great charcoal flavor and just enough seasoning.The best part was the staff though. There is a wonderful gentleman from New York that just made us feel so welcome and made us feel like we were visiting family. Then another very warm gentleman brought us a welcome tray of corn bread... On the house!!!!! Wuuut!!!!We were loud and we met wonderful people and will definitely be back!!! Go here. Not a bad time at all.
Ribs my wife had were good; however my brisket was dried out. They have a fantastic Bourbon selection.
The speciality drinks were very well made. I enjoyed their sangria and the BBQ was super flavorful! The only downside was some of the customers were a bit rude and pushy. It may be the demographic in the area, but the environment matters to me as much as the food. Can a restaurant even teach their customers how lines work and how to wait for pedestrians walking by? This concern does not affect the five star rating, but it is something for management to consider. Thank you!
