Worst chinese food I've ever had.Bland, watery, soggy
The dining area is not open, but the carry out business is booming and I know why. The Chef or Main Cook, Lanoi is absolutely incredible. In my 55 years, this is by far the best I ever had.
Good service (take out only) and fast. I have eaten here several times. Unfortunately the food is low average. While it is edible, the freshness is questionable. The taste is off, and the flavors lacking. Often the vegetables are lacking, both in quantity and taste. I guess I will have to go the few extra blocks, to the Summate and the take out there.
This used to be a GREAT place. They closed down when Covid hit and haven't opened up seating since. Many lights in the dining area are out and others are flickering. Our food was ready to take out in less than 15 minutes. Ordinarily I might be happy with fast service. but at least let me think it recently got cooked. All the food was lukewarm. Until I see SOME effort to please a customer I won't be back. I'll give it a shot in about 6 months and see. I used to love dining there.
Because of its proximity, we have tried eating here several times. We've had to throw away the food because it's so unpalatable. For instance, the sesame chicken tastes like someone rolled it in sugar water. It's soggy and lacks flavor.
Super bad tasting food. Super high price. Discourteous front desk staff. Not sure whether they are aware of something called 'Ethics'. Save yourself time and money and dine elsewhere, you would thank me later.
Take out only. We ordered shrimp, almond chicken and egg rolls. First of all the food stunk! Visually very unattractive. All this food was absolutely not edible! Beware of this restaurant. I am amazed that this place could operate in a high rent district of Carefree Arizona.
Told an hour for food, it was hour and a half, after paying and waiting with others outside front desk person didn’t bother to call out names as food was ready. Food was cold by the time we got it. Small portions, This wasn’t the first time this has happened to us at this restaurant, Shame on us for not learning our lesson.
Food is great, prices are a SCAM. Currently all posted prices are outdated.My wife and I each ordered dishes that are posted online as $10.50. We get there and they are charging us around $15 per dish. We picked up a menu there which also had the $10.50 price. In other words, they lure you in with low prices posted online and in print, then screw you when it's time to pay.I didn't realize the huge discrepancy until after we picked up our food, so I called them. They only offered to have me take the food back - did not even give me a break on the price!Bottom line: If you're willing to do business with such a place and don't mind paying more, the food is great. If you believe in businesses being honest and treating people well, go somewhere else.
Bland and tasteless. Had SS Chicken, SS Pork, egg roll and egg drop soup just ok. $50 down the drain!
