Food is good. The sushi makers do not wear masks or gloves as of 5-22. If you come early they sta d around talking and drinking. Over the food. That's not a acceptable.
There was no "art" to the sushi or freshness. Sashimi looked like it was cut by a butcher and was too thick to eat a slice at once. They didn't provide soy sauce with to go orders. Just not a great experience
This was our go to place for years but now the Sashimi is thinner and the price has doubled. Sad to see. Many new in the area, we will be exploring.
The quality of the food is just terrible. When the best thing you tasted was your glass of Coke, that's pretty bad. My family ordered pretty standard Japanese food. Chicken skewers, ramen, salmon sashimi, and some sushi rolls. Most tasted sweet for some reasons. The sashimi was decent. The ramen was just sub-par. The staff service was ok...that's the most positive thing I could say about this place.
We Usually love this place but the past few times we have tried to place an order for pick up they deny us 30-60 min before they close. This place must be booming with business to turn down money like that. Their website says they close at 8:30 but it seems as if their staff just wants to get out of there and go home for them to deny business like this. Take your money elsewhere is my recommendation. This place doesn’t need any more money or loyal customers apparently ???
Phenomenal service thanks to our server Katie. A constant smile and very knowledgeable. The food only matches the service as being some of the best in the greater Phoenix area. I'm saving this spot as one of our new favorites from here on out.
Kind of a let down. The last time I was in was not so great. This time was worse. 25 minute wait time to be seated, which is okay I guess on a Saturday night, but we placed our order right away and it still took almost an hour to get it. I also got my first drink refill right before our food. The food was good, so there's that, but still a rather disappointing dinner.
Everyone is so very nice and kind here. The food is amazing and the price is very reasonable. I will be coming back here frequently! Thanks Alex for the laughs!
Wonderful! Best sushi in scottsdale, good prices! Also, staff was pleasant.
This sushi restaurant has a no- frills exterior and is located in a strip mall, but don’t let that fool you. The quality of the sushi and the portion size are the best in the valley in my opinion. On Thursday and Friday, they have a lunch special that is beyond compare. For around $16, you can get a special with 6 large pieces of sushi, a role, 2 pieces of tempura, salad, and soup.
